At the Museum of the Cherokee Indian, in Cherokee, North Carolina.
The bear is wearing the headdress and smoking the pipe shown in the lithograph of Sequoyah (ᏍᏏᏉᏯ)who was the inventor of the Cherokee syllabary which made reading and writing in Cherokee possible. The side of the bear is covered with characters from his syllabary
