Well, friends, I decided to try again to take part in the #Seasonhunt contest by @barbara-orenya.
This is the 6th week and the theme of this week is Fall Landscapes.
Autumn, autumn. And I already have winter landscapes around me. Snow. There is snow everywhere. Today is November 30th, which means the official calendar winter will begin tomorrow.
The first "fall landscapes" may appear in August. Of course, every year is different, there are different weather conditions. If you take, for example, poplars, then their leaves begin to fall already in July, especially if the summer is dry and hot.
This photo was taken on September 14th. There is still a lot of grass and even green in places. But the trees are already turning yellow and red. The landscape becomes beautiful and cheerful.
The aspen forest has lost all its foliage. The leaves fell to the ground in almost one or two days. They are still yellow, they have been lying like this for a long time this fall because autumn was dry and warm. But a few small touches of frost began in late September-early October.
It's very nice to walk in such a forest. Leaves rustle underfoot. The air is clean, dry. But because of this, the mushrooms did not want to grow. They lacked moisture.
It can be nice to look at the forest from above. It may be a mountain, which we do not have high, it may be a high riverbank, very high so that the tops of the trees are under your feet. Yes, in the golden autumn season it is beautiful to look at the forest.
But now the time of golden autumn is beginning to end. At night, the temperature drops below zero more and more often, fallen foliage begins to darken on the soil, the forest becomes brown and boring. Nature begins to wait for snow.
And now the forest has become dark and ugly. it's time for late autumn. At this time, it rains very often, the earth is saturated with moisture, you can only go to the forest in boots, so as not to get your feet wet. There were ducks on this lake, but they have already gone to the warm southern lands.
In the old abandoned gardens, you can see apples that nobody needs. They are small and sour, even birds don't eat them.
In the forest, you can find a lot of wild roses. Its thickets fill all the empty space along the river, next to the lakes. Previously, in these places, farmers mowed grass for their pets. Now we have almost no one doing this.
And now autumn is turning into winter. Everything is covered with snow. The landscape turns black and white, sometimes with green patches of trees.
The fall landscape ends.
