Two Wolves & The Devil Inside [shorts]

We are each our own devil, and we make this world our hell.”
― Oscar Wilde

Think of heaven, and heavenly things,” the good angel said to Faustus, but he was too lustful with all the offerings promised by the Devil that none of the good advice reached his heart.

Just like this, we often ignore what's good inside us and get fooled by the devil we are feeding every day and making stronger.

Everyone has two definite sides, good and bad— forget about the ugly for a moment now. They shine a light or cast darkness on our soul depending on our actions; regulated by our sense of self-control.

He, who knows what he is up to; that's enough to be the luckiest person on this earth as most people can't figure out the darkness inside of them. Literally, they don't.

It's you who determines who you will become; how you will transform— the outside force can only trigger your inner self but it can't guide you to the path of righteousness until you are willing to do so. Knowing that you are in darkness, feeding your inner devil can rewrite your destiny; fueled by your ability to recognise your emotion headed in the positive direction.

Remember what that CHEROKEE grandfather told his grandson about two wolves that live within us, and I directly quote,

"My son, the battle is between two ‘wolves’ that live inside us all. One is evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego. The other is good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.”
The grandson thinks about it for a while and says, “Which wolf wins?”
The grandfather replies, “The one you feed”. ref

Unleash the goodness in you before your heart is too hardened by the devil's spell; stop feeding him with your fear of failure. Starve him to death while you can.

Ah, yes, talking about myself, don’t be fooled by the sweet talk. Devil dwells inside me as well and comes out only when it meets another.
