Wars are always not between the armed forces only, it costs many innocent lives too. "Schindlers list" has just given me the cruel view of the holocaust happened in world war II by the Nazi Germany.
In the beginning of the movie i saw Oscar Schindler roaming in the night clubs spending money for the nazi officers to making good relations. He came to to nazi occupied poland to build a factory and make millions of money. The way he bought jewish people because of they are cheap at cost to make them work in his factories showed a selfish and self-centred image of him. But gradually everything seems to changed with him. In the end his motive of making millions changed into the desire to save even one more jew people.
At beginning schindler appointed a jewish accountant who would hire jew people for his factory and that accountant also knew that a work in the factory may give them a guarantee for life so he was picking as much as jewish people he could. He was trying to save his people because every today or tomorrow people are being killed.
We have also seen a terrible holocaust which as given a heartbreaking picture of wars.There was a nazi prison camp commandant named goeth who is seen to shooting from his villa to the jewish idle or unworthy workers. But one thing which is out of the box is his soft corner for one of the jewish girl whom he made his maid and later on it seems that he fell on love with that girl that was truly surprising.
There was a red coated little girl who hide herself during the holocaust under a bed later found her dead body was taking away in front of schindler. That moment was truly a heart breaking one for me. Schindlers heart was turning towards the jewish after seeing so much torture and deaths was seen clearly.
When at train load of his employees were routing somewhere else he goes to the death camp and talks to the authority for getting them. He bribes for them for his factory and brings them back.
He made almost a list of 1100 jewish people for taking with him. That is known as the "schindlers list". In the end i can still remember the scene where schindler was repeatedly saying i coulf have saved more ten people if i had given him the car. He again take a pin out of his coat and saying this is made of gold it could have saved two people,at least one more people.
Two thing which has touched me and in that list the first one is the Schindler who has came in the beginning to the poland for his own interest, traded on the jews because of their cheap cost and in the end he is seen of sacrificing all his wealth in order to save the maximum number of them. How his emotion turned towards them was truly praiseworthy.
The second is the jewish people. How they have been tortured by the nazi army was really heart shaking. I am not well aware of the war history but heard of the holocaust during the second world war. Now this movie has given me a picture of that. I didn’t think that a black and white movie could have such a great impact on my mind.
