Is it a lack of knowledge, or the impact of ignorance on a daily basis? Being rational and irrational is also determined by acknowledging one another for their efforts. HIVE known as a decentralized platform fully driven by the community is quite neglected by many of us. How so? Isn't that the reason many of us are here? Yes, it is but there is a saying something like this, once you get adjusted to a place your demand increases as your want increases too. It should be a need but it's want in many cases. The simplicity of credit in both aspects, significance, and negligence in HIVE in perspective to being misguided is todays' highlight. So, what is credit?
No, here credit does not balance but it is the simplest behavior of acknowledging an individual for their efforts put into practice. Let us delve into an example: A movie is made by many different kinds of artists and so, so. Many fields of workers are involved, each of them is of different designation, what do you think they are not given recognition for? Maybe that may seem to the simple mind as unrecognized but they are acknowledged for their specific designated work along with their designation.
What has this to do with HIVE, right? The connection is such: as HIVE is a decentralized platform for THE COMMUNITY driven by THE COMMUNITY, it means our only support is our community. So, do you realize that? If we do, then why do we tend to steal one another's works, imaginations, thoughts, arts, lyrics, music, storyline, etc. Are we so degraded? Is backstabbing the new way of earning?
Did you hear the song titled after "Democracy/Gonotontro" by Haider Hossain? I highly encourage you to give a peek. Just like a government is huge support for the people of the people by the people, we here each one of us plays a similar role in shaping one another. Also, abided by some rules and regulations just like what happens in a society. This is no rocket science, believe me.
Think, when we give things off at charity we don't take credit for it or barely we boast about it. So, do you think that once a magnificent mind writes what's in their personal store one can steal that idea so easily? Is that for charity? In HIVE most of us share a piece of talent or many, which we are quite proud about or which we are too shy to share in our real world. So, what is the purpose of stealing? I guess many of us do not even understand that we are stealing. It is ok, now you know.
Why am I giving it a name as stealing? It is stealing in my view. That thought, that trigger, you have only perceived after enriching your knowledge from another's mind, another's work, so how can we claim it to be ours? It is true that nothing actually comes from within us entirely, all are fragmented pieces taken from here-there. Therefore, the emphasis still lies on acknowledging but then not for fragmented thoughts always but for significant thoughts. Be the judge of your own works, you will realize the importance of it shortly.
I hope we can build up a good community within our circle and also outside our circle, maintaining simple conduct while taking thoughts from other write-ups; by acknowledging them for their respective pieces by tagging or by quoting. If there are any other ways you are most welcome to do so. This is just my simple perspective in reverting our people to the community properly.
