Let's satisfy our snacks craving !!

In this lockdown situation , I try out different type of dishes which works most of the time. I started my cooking journey by watching youtube tutorials. It makes me feel good when I experience something for the very first time.
Today I make POTATO WEDGES for the first time.Trust me guys it makes my day. Wanna know the secret of this recipe?........... Come with me 😉

Potato wedges are amazing snacks which are loved by everyone.It also called Baked potato,seasoned potato,lemon seasoning potato wedges.I have used mint to give them fresh and delicious taste.This easy and quick recipe is best to satisfy your snacks cravings at any time.This is a perfect side dish for lunch,dinner and can be also eaten as a tasty snack.So try this at home and share your experience through comment section.

Ingredients

  • 3 potatos (medium size)
  • 1 tbsp of paprika powder/ basil leaves
  • Red chili powder
  • Chat masala/ magic masala
  • flour
  • corn-flour
  • egg
  • Black pepper
  • salt to taste
  • Oil

Instructions

First wash and pill all the potatos. Then cut the potatos in wedges of equal thickness so that they evenly. Now transfer all the wedges in a big bowl. Add ice cool water on it so that all the starch are removed properly.

Now take a pan and add some water into it. Let it boil then add a pinch of salt into it.Transfer all wedges in this boiling water and let them cook for 3-4 minutes.

After that soak all the water from wedges by the help of a kitchen tissue and take some time so that all can turn into normal temperature.

Batter making

Take a bowl on your hand , add here some flour, corn-flour, 1 tbsp of paprika powder/ basil leaves
Red chili powder, Chat masala/ magic masala, egg, Black pepper, salt to taste and Oil. Then add a dash of water and mixed it well so that it turns into smooth batter without any lumps.

Now take all the wedges and dip it into the batter. Rest it for 2 minutes. If you want to make them frozen then wrap it into zip lock bag and reserve on refrigerator. Now its time to fry. Put some oil into a pan and make it heat. Then carefully put all the wedges into it and remember you have to put one at a time.It takes 6/7 minutes to turn into fry.

You can also make it on oven. First, pre hit your oven at 425F or 220C.Now take a baking tray wrapped into aluminum foil and spread all wedges on it. Just make sure to place all potato wedges in a single layer so that they roast well and come out crispy. After 30/35 minutes once they are uniformly cooked and become crispy from all side.

So our Crispy Potato Wedges are ready and they are looking beautiful.To check if wedges have right salt,taste a potato wedge, if you feel they are less salty then sprinkle some salt over them when they are still hot.Now take them out in a plate and serve them hot with tomato sauce.
