My mom is always in for anything healthy, healthy food, healthy tea, healthy drinks, even if it tastes bitter, well the bitter ones work better, that's what she believes so she likes to make us drink it...
Well today, she decided that we make ginger tea for everyone, even when our last child objected to not taking ginger tea, my mom will take no excuse but everyone must take this tea...
So long story short...
There are a lot of varieties to ginger tea, and this one I'll show you in this post is what my mom meant as ginger tea, though she planned not to put sugar. But I bought sugar to add to mine and my sister's own.
This ginger tea I made it very easily with just three ingredients:
To make this first I peel the ginger and wash it thoroughly
Next I blend the ginger using a mortar and pestle
Next I put 2 cups of water to a pot and added the ginger paste to it.
I let the water mixed with ginger to boil very well and the I sieved the water to remove the ginger particles
Next I put the tea to a cup and added sugar and milk to my portion, mom didn't want sugar so I only added milk to hers.
The taste of this ginger tea is delightful! It's warm, soothing, and invigorating, with a perfect balance of spicy and sweet notes. The ginger flavor is prominent, but not overpowering, and the addition of milk and sugar adds a creamy and subtle sweetness. The tea has a comforting, velvety texture and a refreshing aroma that fills the senses.
The first sip you get comes with initial spiciness of the ginger, followed by a smooth, creamy sensation from the milk. The sugar adds a hint of sweetness, balancing out the heat from the ginger. The later taste is warm and comforting...
This tea can be enjoyed at any time of the day, especially in the mornings. And to think there are a lot of health benefits to this tea...
Thank you for letting me share this with you, hope you liked it and see you in another post...🤗
