Fresh Sour Drink Perfect for summer

I would like to share the common India drink during Summers. Aam Panna is the perfect way to refresh and rehydrate during the oppressively hot Indian summers. Made from unripe green mangoes and some Indian spices, there are manys ways of making Aam Panna, but i would like to share the recipe, which has been passed by my elders.It is made daily in my house and we drink it in the afternoon. It is easy to make and can be prepared instantly and the best thing is that it has a lot of benefits.

Fresh Mints from My Kitchen Garden


Today, what is special about Aam Panna is that I have prepared this mint by plucking it fresh from my kitchen garden which is completely organic. The joy of plucking vegetables from our garden is different and so in the taste.

When I had gone to pluck mint on the terrace, my condition worsened. It was so hot that the sun was there, so I had to drink a glass of Aam panna,It was so intense that I was not able to open my eyes.

☘️ 2-3 unripe Mangoes.

☘️ 250 grams fresh Mints.

☘️ 2 tbsp Roasted Cumin Seeds.

☘️ 1 tbsp of asafoetida.

☘️ Black Salt To salt.

☘️ Sugar(optional)

Step 1 wash and Peel off the Unripe mangoes, cut into the pieces, Make them boil for 1O minutes.

Step 2 Taking the Mixing Jar, add mints and boiled mangoes, to make it's paste.

Step 3 I ground this pulp smoothly furthermore and added cold water to it

Step 4 After that, remove and collect the pulp, discard the waste and any hard seed part.

Step 4 Now add the Roasted Cumin seeds, black salt and Asafoetida into it.

Step 5 Mix it well.

Step 6 Add some Ice cubes to make it cool, even you refrigerate it for 4 to 5 days.
