Let's Make The Eye With Polymer Clay | DiyHub

Hello folks !
I am here after ages. Today, i made a strange eye which is also part of splinterlands game.

Material

I sat down and gathered all the necessary items. The necessary items include;

  • polymer clay
  • acrylic colors
  • black marker

It is my first time that i am playing with polymer clay and making some creative stuff out of it. Children and kids of this generation play with this clay. I always have seen my younger sister making different cartoon's character with this clay. She always amazed me. I got inspiration from her art and creative work that's why i thought to make something with clay too.

Firstly, i took a bit of white polymer clay to make the sclera which is white part of human eyes. Well, it's important to remember that it's not any human eye. It looks more like an eye of some alien specie.

I used back side of mobile to make it flat and round shape sclera. This turned out really well.

Second step is to make another round shape to make Iris. This Iris is different in color and size. It's color is purple and reminded me of a Netflix movie purple hearts. Have you watched that movie or not?

The round shape experiment was fully successful and i thanked my sister for giving this idea to use mobile which really did work.

To give it shape of an eye, i sticked both of these round shape structures together.

After speaking these two round shapes, the next step is to add details into the eye by colouring it with acrylic colours.

Colouring is a thing which I always enjoy.

I drew wave like structures on the eye. These wave like structures are actually in the reference image too. These wave like structures reminded me of weeds.

Once I was done with colouring and adding details to it then I started making a tail for the eye because this I as a very unique as it has a tale.

Here's the final look of the eye I hope you all love that and I am waiting for your feedback.

See you next 🌸 💮 🌼
