2D clay sculpture of Goblin Psychic

This is my second time made a clay sculpture of the splinterlands character, last time I made a 3d sculpture of a chracter but now I'm more into 2D sculpture as they are convenient , easy and beautiful as well. I hope you would like it as it took almost my three days to complete a sculpture. I made goblin psychic as I really liked its cute wizard look and dress. Now let's discuss how I did it.

Process

The only thing you will require to make this sculpture is raw clay, just roll it and make a smooth sheet of clay as you can see.

  • Here is the clay I got directly from the field.

  • Just roll the clay with the help of a roller nad then with a butter knife make it more even and smooth.

  • Make dots of the complete figure on the clay sheet.

  • Now start adding other objects on one another like the cap, the eyebrows, they cheeks everything.

  • It took me almost my whole day to complete the object layering work as well as adding details was real struggle.

  • You can see after completing the whole layering process, I made the eyes socket with a round pencil stick to make shallow holes.

  • I had to place it outside in the direct sunlight to make it completely dry and then cool down in the indoor before doing any paint work.

  • First of all, I started the painting with it's cap orange and the logo on it yellow, the whole body of the goblin is supposed to be green so I did green to the face as well as hands.

  • Thrn I did the jewellery as you can see the goblin is wearing an earring on his left ear and two tings on his one hand with blue jewel 💎💍 as well as a pearl bracelet.

  • I captured the above image just randomly as the blue water was looking so beautiful and magical that I can't stop myself from posting it. And the second image is the last step before making the eyes and it is just done.
