Hi guys, this is my first post in this community, I hope you like it. I want to show you some beautiful dolls that my mom made to offer as a gift to her dentist, who loves dolls and collects them, so I will show you step by step how she made them.
These are the molds my mom used, they have the shape of the doll's head, torso, limbs, arms, legs and her clothes.
The torso mold measures 9 cm wide and 17 cm long (from the neck to the base). The head consists of two molds, a large one (a circumference of 9 cm) and a smaller one of 8 cm (for the back part).
The briefs mold measures 12 cm long by 12.30 cm wide, the front top mold of the dress measures 7.5 cm long by 13 cm wide, the back top mold of the dress measures 7.5 cm long by 6.5 cm wide, and finally the skirt of the dress measures 10 cm long by 19 cm wide.
My mom then drew the shape of the molds corresponding to the dolls' bodies on white fabric and baked around it, leaving a space for the stuffing.
Once the pieces are filled they look like this.
It was time to embroider the eyes, although you can also draw them and even sew on buttons to simulate the eyes, as in the world of Coraline.
At this point my mom embroidered the doll's nose and mouth. She says that for embroidery it´s much easier to draw the eyes, nose and mouth first, and use the drawing as a guide to fill in with thread.
The head consists of two parts, the one with the face and the back part. Both parts should be sewn together to give texture and volume.
Afterwards, my mom attached the doll's limbs to the torso, starting with the legs, although you can start with the part of your choice, and finally she attached the head.
She then drew the outline of the molds on bench cloth to make the doll's panties and also made the rest of the clothes.
Now it was time for the doll to have a beautiful hair, to achieve this, my mom cut 13 and 23 cm strips of worsted, the shorter ones she folded in half and started sewing them from the nape of the neck.
The longer strips of worsted are sewn on the top of the head. And this is the result.
If you want you can put a little blush on the doll's cheeks to highlight them and put a pretty bow on her head, this way she will look even more beautiful.

¡Hola amigos!, Éste es mi primer post en esta comunidad, espero que les guste. Quiero mostrarles unas hermosas muñecas que hizo mi mamá para ofrecerle como regalo a su dentista, quien ama las muñecas y las colecciona, así que les mostraré paso a paso cómo las hizo.
Estos son los moldes que usó mi mamá, tienen la forma de la cabeza de la muñeca, el torso, las extremidades, los brazos, las piernas y su ropa.
El molde del torso mide 9 cm de ancho y 17 cm de largo (desde el cuello hasta la base) La cabeza consta de dos moldes, uno grande, (una circunferencia de 9 cm) y otra más pequeña de 8 cm (para la parte de atrás) El molde de los brazos mide 11 cm de largo por 3 de ancho, el de las piernas mide 14 Cm de largo por 4 Cm de ancho.
El Molde de los calzones mide 12 Cm de largo por 12, 30 Cm de ancho, el molde de la parte delantera superior del vestido mide 7.5 Cm de largo por 13 Cm de ancho, la parte trasera superior del vestido mide 7.5 de largo por 6.5 Cm de ancho, y finalmente la falda del vestido mide 10 Cm de largo por 19 Cm de ancho.
Mi mamá luego dibujó la forma de los moldes correspondientes al cuerpo de las muñecas en tela blanca y coció al rededor, dejando un espacio para el relleno.
Una vez que las piezas están rellenas se ven así.
Llegó el momento de bordar los ojos, aunque también se pueden dibujar e incluso se pueden coser botones para simular los ojos, como en el mundo de Coraline.
En este momento mi mamá bordó la nariz y la boca de la muñeca. Ella dice que para bordar es mucho más fácil dibujar primero los ojos, la nariz y la boca, y usar el dibujo como guía para rellenar con el hilo.
La cabeza consta de dos partes, la de la cara y la parte de atrás. Ambas partes deben estar cosidas para darle textura y volumen.
Posteriormente, mi mamá unió las extremidades de la muñeca al torso, empezando por las piernas, aunque ustedes pueden empezar por la parte de su preferencia, y por último unió la cabeza.
Luego dibujó el contorno de los moldes sobre tela banca para hacer los calzones de la muñeca y también le hizo el resto de la ropa.
Ahora llegó el momento de que la muñeca tenga un hermoso cabello, para lograrlo, mi mamá cortó tiras de estambre de 13 y 23 cm, las más cortas las dobló a la mitad y comenzó a coserlas desde la nuca.
Las tiras de estambre más largas van cosidas en la parte superior de la cabeza. Y éste es el resultado.
Si ustedes quieren pueden poner un poco de rubor en las mejillas de la muñeca para resaltarlas y poner un bonito moño sobre su cabeza, de esta manera se verá incluso más hermosa.
Aquí están las dos muñecas que mi mamá hizo.
Mi madre ama hacer muñecas, siempre está cosiendo alguna para ofrecerlas como regalo, incluso mi hermana y yo tenemos algunas ¡Son hermosas y nos encantan! Aquí les dejaré algunas fotografías de ellas.
