and that is because all day, if I am honest all weekend its dutch sports weekend. There was the qualification for the Grandprix from Austin Texas in the USA,
the kickbox match from Rico Verhoeven and soccer. In a men household, I try to do some crafting while they watch television, and I hive aswell among other things. My mum is going on a sun holiday and I was asked to make sun glass cords. A little craft work I did in italy this summer aswell. All you need are rubber end-bands that will go on the legs of the glasses and beads.
She choose multicolour and a gold-black-white one, and I decided when I was doing it to do a black and white one for myself.
Its pretty easy and I use a bowl of beads.
This wat the cord ( with steel thread inside ) goes through the bowl there are always beads on the cord. Very fast very easy. And you vcan make bracelets, cords, ancle bands or keychains.
I also use a tool to cut the steel cord and to squeeze
the beads that end the row of beads.
That is needed because it stays secure that way. So every glasses cord takes about 30 minutes, and again while
watching tv or sitting with the fam bam its nice to do.
This is mine in black and white ( 5 white and than 5 black beads and 48 cm long in total ) I put a star at the end st to personalise.
The steel cord is pink, but you don’t see that when the final cord is ready.
This is the ones I made on request by mum. Gold-black and white, 18 whites and 18 black in between combined with gold.
Multicolour is easy because I have a bunch mixed beads and when you don’t have a pattern is even quicker ready. So this was a fun afternoon. I will be making dinner now and tonight we will be watching Max verstappen from pole position in the Austin Texas grand prix from the United States.
