Our sincere apologies for our absence in the HIVE blockchain as we had quite a surprised after the Movement Control Order was relaxed and we came to find out that we had 1000 over grown giant tilapia in our collaborating farming ponds.
Thus come our opportunity to be an impact to the community with the collaboration with @gtpjfoodbank and @dbfoodbank (new special project) charity fund raising along with @dses involvement in the light of abundance!
We didn't expect the fishes survived when we and our team were not allowed to visit the farms.

Because of the COVID-19 endemic in Malaysia, many families, especially those who are stranded in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur with its 10 mile radius were badly effected due to the many weeks of lockdown when red zones were prompted due to quick spread of the virus.
This has led to many families who lost their daily income and even though with @gtpjfoodbank working along with F&B manufacturers to feed at least 200 (already registered) families plus another 800 impromptu families from communities we have been helping as well.

With the abundance of over-sized fish and not many restaurants are back in full operation to absorb all these organically grown fish, we have decided to GO BIG - OR GO HOME
(Inspired by @gtpjfoodbank's first ever Christmas luncheon years ago)
Thus any Malaysian or Resident in Malaysia who would like to bless an under privileged family with no income at the moment registered under the @gtpjfoodbank recipient list, with only MYR35 a fish with a size that could feed as much as 13 people at a time will go to a family that can potentiall last them up to a week (depending on the size of the family).
All these families are of lost of income and with / without sickly elderly family members at home; or families who are struggling monthly even before the movement control that effected the economy started.
We would like to take this opportunity with @gtpjfoodbank to give these family a ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY to taste a giant, organic, and freshly harvested tilapia!
We want to promote healthy eating even for families who are under privileged who mostly rely on cheap food or even leftovers.
So far, @littlenewthings and family have personally experienced the quality of the fish during her father's post operation cancer recovery journey (and now CANCER FREE ! Congrats to @philiprenelee !)

In the light of supporting the whole idea of sustainability of the HIVE crypto in the blockchain with usability in the real world - starting from charitable donations , @dses has agreed to absorb 10 crypto paid donations for 10 fishes and paying us in fiat; and the credit is given BACK to the donor with our generated thank you receipt later.
Each Fish is around 34 HIVE (at the time of this posting) , and anyone from any part of the world would like to donate hive (either individually or collectively), please contact @littlenewthings for the procedure to do so.

Q&A
1. Are the fish live or frozen?
All of the giant tilapias will only be HARVESTED UPON ORDER every Monday and Thursday, and we will degut the fish and store them in the freezer. This preserves the freshness, texture, and taste of these giants. If you wish to purchase for yourself, please give us at least a 3 days notice to prepare! 😆
2. How much do they weigh?
The average weight for these fishes is 1.75kg (after removing the gut which makes up 18% of the fishes' weight, ~350g gut weight)
3. Can I buy the fish for myself?
Yes, you may. Please let us know how many units and when will you be coming to our modest farm to pick them up. 😄
(Yes, self-pick up. Therefore it is only available for Klang Valley)
