Me encantan los accesorios de todo tipo, es una manera de que la mujer se vea más coqueta, de lo que naturalmente somos. En particular me inclino más por los anillos y zarcillos, pero eso no me impide usar los demás accesorios.
I love accessories of all kinds, it's a way for a woman to look more flirtatious than we naturally are. In particular I'm more inclined to wear rings and earrings, but that doesn't stop me from using other accessories.
Para este concurso no tenía ni idea de como hacerlos, pues el reto es hacerlo con tela de jeans y para ser sincera, siempre me voy por la parte comercial a la hora de obtener mis accesorios, nunca me he dedicado a crearlos. Aunque siempre que pueda compro accesorios a los artesanos, la verdad es que es increíble las maravillas que hacen. De adolescente siempre me iba a un sitio muy atractivo para los turistas y residente, el famoso Paseo Colon, ubicado en Puerto La Cruz, en el estado Anzoátegui, en Venezuela. Allí se podía encontrar todo tipo de accesorios hechos a mano y realizados con material de todo tipo.
For this contest I had no idea how to make them, because the challenge is to do it with jeans fabric and to be honest, I always go for the commercial side when it comes to get my accessories, I have never dedicated myself to create them. Although whenever I can I buy accessories from artisans, the truth is that it is incredible the wonders they do. As a teenager I always went to a very attractive place for tourists and residents, the famous Paseo Colon, located in Puerto La Cruz, in the state of Anzoátegui, in Venezuela. There you could find all kinds of handmade accessories made with all kinds of materials.
Así que aquí les muestro como logre hacer un collar, unos zarcillos y un anillo.
So here I show you how I managed to make a necklace, some earrings and a ring.
Procedimiento:
En una hoja de papel, hice un diseño de lo que sería el dije para el collar, hice un círculo, le dibuje unos picos y me quedo como se muestra en la imagen.
Procedure:
On a sheet of paper, I made a design of what would be the pendant for the necklace, I made a circle, I drew some peaks and I got it as shown in the image.
Luego lo transferí a la tela, doble el papel por la mitad, doble también la tela y coloque el patrón en la tela para cortarlo. Lo hice de esa manera para que pudiera quedarme ambos lados de la misma forma, así evito que me quede un pico más grande que otro.
Lo corté unos 5 mm más grande, para poder echarle pega. En el envase pequeño, eche pega blanca y unas gotas de agua, la idea es que quede un poco menos espesa la pega y se la coloque a toda la pieza que corte, con el fin de que cuando se seque, quede dura. La corte luego por la marca correspondiente y así no se va a deshilachar y la pieza no se doblara.
Then I transferred it to the fabric, folded the paper in half, folded the fabric and placed the pattern on the fabric to cut it out. I did it that way so that I could have both sides the same shape, this way I avoid having one beak bigger than the other.
I cut it about 5 mm bigger, so I could glue it. In the small container, pour white glue and a few drops of water, the idea is to make the glue a little less thick and put it on the whole piece that I cut, so that when it dries, it will be hard. Then cut it by the corresponding mark so it will not fray and the piece will not bend.

Con la tela de jeans oscura, recorte unos retazos pequeños con forma de diamantes, le hice el mismo procedimiento que la pieza anterior. Una vez que se secaron las piezas, procedo a decorarla.
With the dark denim fabric, I cut out some small diamond-shaped pieces and did the same procedure as the previous piece. Once the pieces were dry, I proceeded to decorate it.
Tome la pieza grande y le coloque los retazos en forma de diamante, los pegue con silicon, luego continúe decorando con las cuentas, tal como se muestra en la imagen. Le coloqué una argolla para luego colocar el collar.
Take the large piece and place the diamond-shaped pieces on it, glue them with silicone, then continue decorating with the beads, as shown in the picture. I placed a ring to attach the necklace.

Para la elaboración de los zarcillos, saque un patrón en el papel en forma de cuadrado, lo transferí a la tela y corte dos piezas, le eche pega y espere a que secara.
To make the tendrils, I drew a pattern on paper in the shape of a square, transferred it to the fabric and cut two pieces, glued them together and waited for them to dry.
Para decorarlo, tome la tela más oscura y empece a sacar los hijos oscuros, luego agarre 6 hebras y le eche pega, lo retorcí y espere a que secara, como pueden ver en la imagen, quedan como un alambre.
To decorate it, I took the darker fabric and started to take out the dark children, then I took 6 strands and put glue on it, twisted it and waited for it to dry, as you can see in the picture, it looks like a wire.
Luego de eso decore, el cuadrado con el hilo, dando la apariencia de espiral y decore con cuentas. Le coloqué los anzuelos y ya tengo mis zarcillos listos.
After that I decorated the square with the thread, giving the appearance of a spiral and decorated it with beads. I attached the hooks and I have my tendrils ready.
Para el anillo, saque un patrón en el papel en forma de mariposa, antes de recortar, le coloque, pega a la tela y espere a que secara para luego poder recortar.
For the ring, draw a pattern on the paper in the shape of a butterfly, before cutting it out, glue it to the fabric and wait for it to dry before cutting it out.
Con los retazos de foami, recorte un pedazo en amarillo para lo que sería el cuerpo de la mariposa y lo pegue con silicon a la tela. Con el mismo foami en amarillo recorte de tiras finitas para realizar las antenas. Con el foami de color verde, recorte una tira larga lo más finita que pude, para poder pegarla a todo el alrededor de las alas.
Una vez efectuado todo el decorado, tome la base del anillo y lo uni a la mariposa con el silicon, quedando de esa manera.
With the scraps of foami, cut out a yellow piece for what would be the body of the butterfly and glue it with silicone to the fabric. With the same yellow foami, cut thin strips to make the antennae. With the green foami, I cut a long strip as thin as I could, so I could glue it all around the wings.
Once all the decoration was done, I took the base of the ring and attached it to the butterfly with the silicone, leaving it that way.
Y así tenemos todo un juego de joyas, efectuado con material reciclado y de una manera rápida y sencilla. Solo con un poco de imaginación y ganas de hacerlo, se crean cosas bonitas.

And so we have a whole set of jewelry, made with recycled material and in a quick and easy way. Just with a little imagination and desire to do it, beautiful things are created.
