Jewelry Anniversary Contest: I Used Bathroom Slippers, Wire, Nylon Line, and Beads to Make a Tendril

Hello and a happy Sunday to all jewelry lovers. Today, I want to celebrate with the community over the first anniversary. I want especially say thank you to the curators, and others for the consistent effort in keeping the community growing. When I joined this community last year, I didn't know that I will be benefiting from what I'm doing today. Before I joined the community, I was not all that good with jewelry, but today, I have gathered many experiences from different contributors in the community. I have never regretted being a member of the community.

All I have to say is that the community shall continue to grow just like every other community in Hive. All the aims and objectives of the community shall be achieved. Authors and other members of the community shall continue to have the grace to create new things for the community.

Without much delay, I want to join the community to participate in the one-year anniversary contest that says we should create new things about jewelry. For me to create new something never done before, I decided to use condemned bathroom slippers, wire, and beads to make a tendril as my entry for the contest. Making the tendril was not as easy as other earrings made with beads. The idea was very difficult for me to discover, but I'm still very grateful that I was able to achieve a tendril as planned.

Procedures that were used for the making of the bathroom slippers tendril will be discussed below:

What I did was to open the wire from it coated material, I use a plier to achieve it. After that, I used a pen to sketch the bathroom slippers. After that step, I have to use a plier to cut 6 equal wires to be used for the earring. Another thing I did was to use a cutter to cut the measured bathroom slippers according to the design of the earring needed.

The next thing I did was to take 3 wires and start penetrating them one after the other into the measured bathroom slippers. After that, from the back of the measured bathroom slippers, I used a plier to bend the 3 penetrated wires by holding tight with the slippers.

The next thing I did was to insert 1 piece of red diamond shape bead into the wire. I inserted 1 red diamond shape bead in each of the 3 wires. I have to insert 5 pieces of yellow sand bead into the wire. I repeated it to the 3 wires. After that, I have to insert another 1 piece of red diamond shape bead in each of the 3 wires. Next was another 5 pieces of yellow sand bead in each of the 3 wires. Another thing I did was to insert 1 piece of red diamond shape bead in each of the 3 wires. When I finished with this stage, I have to use a bead stopper to hold each of the 3 wires to protect the beads from falling out.

The next step I took was to cut a nylon line and cross it into the middle red diamond shape bead by inserting 6 pieces of the red sand bead. I have to cross it to the next wire by inserting another 6 pieces of the red sand bead. What I also did here was use a bead stopper to hold it. The next thing I did was to cut another nylon line and cross it to the center of the red sand bead, but I inserted 5 pieces of the red sand bead with 1 piece of yellow diamond shape bead. I also inserted another 5 pieces of the red sand bead with 1 piece of yellow diamond shape bead to the second center of the red sand bead. I use a bead stopper to hold them all.

Finally, I have to cut another wire and insert 4 pieces of red sand bead, an earring hook, and another 4 pieces of the red sand bead. I bend the wire into the top bathroom slippers. They will serve as an earring holder.
