Some days ago I was looking for photos to greet my friend for her birthday and I found this one that I took on her graduation day, 5 months ago, with this sign that says "someone give me a job." At that time I was not very well financially, despite having my blog, I still did not publish so frequently and only occasionally worked giving private math classes to a few students per week. Besides that, I was still going through a health problem and with the covid issue I didn't leave my house much either, so the possibilities I had to have a job were very limited.
El otro día estaba buscando fotos para saludar a mi amiga por su cumpleaños y encontré esta que me tomé el día de su graduación, hace 5 meses, con este cartel que dice "alguien que me dé trabajo". En ese momento yo no estaba muy bien económicamente, a pesar de tener mi blog aún no publicaba tan frecuentemente y solo trabajaba eventualmente dando clases particulares de matemática a unos pocos alumnos por semana. Además de eso, aún estaba atravesando un problema de salud y con el asunto del covid tampoco salía mucho de mi casa, por lo que las posibilidades que tenía para tener un empleo eran muy limitadas.
Since I graduated from Engineering I still haven't been able to work on that, for the pandemic and a bit for the universe that still does not allow me the opportunity I need. Fortunately, now I find my steady income at Hive and can make a living from writing from home until I find my dream job and I can increase my chances. I always say that this is my "remote job". Perhaps for those who are not joined here it may seem very easy to "just write" but those of us who make a living from this know all the effort behind each post, write it, edit it, take photos, interact and support other users.
Desde que me recibí de Ingeniera aun no he podido trabajar de eso, por la pandemia y un poco por el universo que aun no me habilita la oportunidad que necesito. Afortunadamente, ahora encuentro en Hive mi ingreso fijo y puedo vivir de escribir desde mi casa hasta que encuentre el trabajo de mis sueños y pueda aumentar mis posibilidades. Siempre digo que este es mi "trabajo remoto". Quizás para aquellos que no están unidos aquí pueda parecer muy sencillo "solo escribir" pero los que vivimos de esto sabemos todo el esfuerzo que hay detrás de cada post, redactarlo, editarlo, tomar fotos, interactuar y apoyar a otros usuarios.

I think there are a lot of people who are in the same condition as me and being rewarded for our content is really a blessing. I'm glad I got to know this network. I do not know what would have happened to me all these months alone living from private classes, the demand for which has plummeted since the schools closed. I'm very grateful to everyone who supports my posts on a daily basis 😍.
Pienso que hay mucha gente que está en la misma condición que yo y ser recompensados por nuestro contenido es realmente una bendición. Me alegro de haber conocido esta red. No sé que hubiese sido de mí todos estos meses solos viviendo de las clases particulares, cuya demanda se desplomó desde que las escuelas cerraron. Estoy muy agradecida con todos los que apoyan mis posts a diario 😍.
