I read the introductory post you made two days ago and it was really awesome. The energy, vibe and enthusiasm you adopted in writing that awesome piece is literally unmatched. The pictures you shared in the post also show your high level of creativity, artistic prowess, baking skills, musical journey, competent photography skills and your ability to synthesize these amazing skills to produce something extraordinary. I can say without any iota of doubt that you have a lot of content to bring on Hive and that you have lots of expectations from Hive as well. I would encourage you to fan the flames and keep the fire burning, it isn’t an easy journey, but it is one that you will enjoy if you understand well.
At this point, it is necessary to equip yourself with certain guidelines and rules on Hive in order to make your journey a less stressful one, a journey without much issues and a journey that is open to growth.

There are so many posts where you can get tips to guide your journey on Hive. In fact, I shared 10 tips (4 general tips and 6 tips for Newbies in a Community on Hive) in my Post on My 2nd Hive Birthday | 10 Essential Tips for Newbies on Hive and in Communities, and you can also see some amazing posts in the Loving Hive ❤ family.
However, in this piece, I will share 5 Necessary tips for you to get started on Hive and to make your Hive Journey an awesome one. These tips are like advice and I hope you see reasons not to falter in your unwavering quest for growth.
5 CONSEJOS NECESARIOS PARA EMPEZAR A TRABAJAR CON HIVE
Hay muchísimos posts donde puedes obtener consejos para guiar tu viaje en Hive. De hecho, compartí 10 consejos (4 generales y 6 para novatos en una comunidad en Hive) en mi post sobre Mi segundo cumpleaños en Hive | 10 consejos esenciales para novatos en Hive y en comunidades, y también puedes ver algunos posts increíbles en la familia Loving Hive ❤.
Sin embargo, en este artículo, voy a compartir 5 consejos necesarios para que te inicies en Hive y para que tu viaje en Hive sea increíble. Estos consejos son como una asesoría y espero que veas razones para no desfallecer en tu búsqueda incesante de crecimiento.
1. AVOID PLAGIARISM
If I am to give you only one advice on Hive, it will be this: AVOID PLAGIARISM of any level.
What does this mean?
Plagiarism means Intellectual theft; in other words, it is a form of stealing (theft) that involves claiming ownership of an idea, words or image that does not belong to you.
Remember, Hive is a system or platform that encourages authors and where authors earn from their originality and creativity. So, it means that when you “steal” other people’s ideas, words, and images without informing your audience about the original creator, it is presumed that you are the original author/creator of those contents. Thus, when there is a conflicting evidence that proves that you are not the owner, it creates room for doubt, dishonesty and fraud.
Hive frowns at these and defaulters get to pay dearly.
So, in order to avoid having issues based on Plagiarism, ensure that you create original contents (words or images), but if you are to use words and images from external sources ensure that you cite them in the proper way. I advise you to read this post by Xposed on how to cite properly: Let's talk about Copyright.
1. EVITAR EL PLAGIARISMO
Si tengo que darte un solo consejo en Hive, será este: EVITA EL PLAGIARISMO de cualquier nivel.
¿Qué significa esto?
Plagio significa Robo intelectual; en otras palabras, es una forma de robo (hurto) que implica reclamar la propiedad de una idea, palabras o imagen que no te pertenece.
Recuerda que Hive es un sistema o plataforma que fomenta a los autores y donde éstos ganan con su originalidad y creatividad. Por lo tanto, significa que cuando "robas" ideas, palabras e imágenes de otras personas sin informar a tu audiencia sobre el creador original, se presume que eres el autor/creador original de esos contenidos. Por lo tanto, cuando hay una prueba contradictoria que demuestra que no eres el propietario, se crea un espacio para la duda, la deshonestidad y el fraude.
Hive no ve con buenos ojos esto y los morosos lo pagan caro.
Así que, para evitar tener problemas de plagio, asegúrate de crear contenidos originales (palabras o imágenes), pero si vas a utilizar palabras e imágenes de fuentes externas asegúrate de citarlas de la forma adecuada. 2. AVOID TAGGING PEOPLE UNNECESSARILY
I refrained from tagging “Xposed” in the last paragraph, although I shared a wonderful post he made about proper citation. This is because, in as much as I read the lovely piece and commented (probably or probably not), it doesn’t give me the right to tag him.
Some people frown at those who tag them and others can go to the extreme of downvoting your post. So just avoid it, and if you must tag you can tag your friends and those you know too well (on the blockchain), if the tag is necessary.
2. EVITAR ETIQUETAR A LA GENTE INNECESARIAMENTE

3. DO NOT BEG FOR VOTES
As a Newbie, there are times when you may get less than $0.1 upvote consistently, and at the same time you see others getting $30, $50 or even $150 upvotes in a post. Subconsciously or out of frustration, some Newbies get tempted to add phrases like this at the end of or in their posts:
These expressions and others are RED CARD or RED FLAG on Hive.
People with mindset like this lose their potential audience and some get muted or downvoted. Please avoid making statement like this. The journey is a difficult one, but with consistency in your quality, you will definitely grow and earn better.
3. NO PIDAS VOTOS
Como Novato, hay ocasiones en las que puedes conseguir menos de 0,1 upvotes de forma constante, y al mismo tiempo ves que otros consiguen 30, 50 o incluso 150 upvotes en un post. Inconscientemente o por frustración, algunos novatos se ven tentados a añadir frases como esta al final o en sus posts:
Estas expresiones y otras son TARJETA ROJA o BANDERA ROJA en Hive.
Las personas con mentalidad así pierden su audiencia potencial y algunas son silenciadas o downvotadas. Por favor, evita hacer declaraciones como estas. El camino es difícil, pero con consistencia en tu calidad, definitivamente crecerás y ganarás mejor.
4. DON’T FALL FOR SCAM OR GIVE OUT YOUR PRIVATE KEYS
I advise that you keep your private keys in a private place. Ensure that you do not fall prey or a victim to scam sites and scam projects. They are so many around and if you allow greed to control you and if you are not careful, you will fall for their scam by clicking their link and registering with your private keys. And when you do this, they will get full control of your account and withdraw your Hive savings.
So, avoid putting your details on platforms that are not recognized by Hive.
4. NO CAIGAS EN UN ESTAFA NI DÉIS LA LLAVE PRIVADA
Te aconsejo que guardes tus claves privadas en un lugar privado. Asegúrate de no ser presa o víctima de sitios y proyectos de estafa. Hay muchos alrededor y si permites que la codicia te controle y si no tienes cuidado, caerás en su estafa haciendo clic en su enlace y registrándote con tus claves privadas. Y cuando hagas esto, obtendrán el control total de tu cuenta y retirarán tus ahorros de Hive.

Finally, I will encourage you to be open to growth. I encourage you to read and LEARN from other amazing authors, to imbibe their positive qualities and amazing writing skills, while growing your unique style. Be open to correction, as it will bring growth, and growth will lead to progress on Hive.
Oh, by the way, as a parting gift to you, make sure you abide by the different Communities’ rules and participate more in their activities. This will grant you more visibility on Hive.
