Web3 space has been slowly coming out in this world. Hive Blockchain is part of it. Two individuals sir @ybanezkim26 and miss @indayclara were the main reasons why we became enthusiasts of sharing hive with everyone. We will never get tired of spreading its goodness since it helped us a lot in terms of emotional experiences and the like.

Web2 already exists, and people already have earnings through higher views of videos however, the disadvantages weren't justifiable enough, and worst the account will be restricted and banned. Well, in this case, we have to move forward and start a new beginning with Web3 space. I know in the future, people will embrace this third-world technology and be able to earn accordingly.

Last November 8, 2023, @callmesmile invited two prominent people to our school to conduct hive orientation to Grade 12 students, sir @ybanezkim26 and miss @indayclara. They were delighted to share hive with several willing Grade 12 students in Ilihan Integrated School, plus Student-Teachers of CRMC. I was not able to witness the start of the program because I had my class at that time. Fortunately, I still captured the moments when they talked about the hive.

@indayclara shared about the "content" that should have substance, that's strong and catchy enough to get the attention of the curators. And of course, ORIGINAL. NO PLAGIARISM. Another thing was, that students were reminded of engaging to other hive users by commenting, following others, and reblogging others' posts (when they totally got into the hive). Music to my ears hearing such orientation about the hive. The eager students wrote every detail they could have, for when they write their intro blogs, they have a guide.

I had a glimpse of an idea about this orientation when @callmesmile shared about her thesis writing. I was ignited because it is not a common topic in the world of writing a thesis, yet it is not impossible! Mam Smile is a good writer, no, the best writer! I know that she'll be able to win this as she's equipped and profound. Especially, with this platform, she has a lot to share. Whatever her study aims we are here to support and we are so excited about the result😍.

Sir @ybanezkim26 with his respectable attire and his like a professor when he talked about "how to improve writing skills". He advised students to remember the subject-verb agreement. It's the key to improving skills in writing. Another thing, students have to read other blogs to learn other styles of writing. By reading other posts, we gain vocabulary, and creativity, and learn to appreciate other's works.

I left the venue for a while to help one of our colleagues and @naymhapz prepare the lunch. By the moment I entered the library/canteen/faculty (honestly, we combined all these since we don't have enough rooms, that was all catered to our students) the aroma of the viand made me hungrier. We prepared fried chicken, dried fish, and the healthy and nutritious utan bisaya (freshly picked from the school garden). Sir Kim liked it🫶.

After a moment, I heard a commotion, someone signaled to me that the orientation was over. So, I hurriedly went to the venue and saw them happily done. I got overwhelmed watching students nearly joining the hive. Very soon they will join us here🫶. I have high hopes that they will connect with us since they're technology literate. Also, considering the willingness and sincerity of the students to join.

After the photo opportunity, we headed to the cookery where happily munched our lunch together with sir Kim and Inday, and other co-teacher-bloggers. Then, a simple chika and plans for our future Christmas Party☺️.

Reflection of a Hive Enthusiast

Students nowadays have more access to the digital world. They were more techie than we are. They tend to explore, navigate, and do everything they can do to cell phones or computers. Now, it's a challenge to us educators/hive enthusiasts to educate them about a wide world of Web3 space.

I felt ecstatic sharing hive with students especially when they take it as a help to them. Every time I invite students to this platform, I always highlight the benefit of the hive, that is to IMPROVE SKILLS IN WRITING and WIDENED THEIR VOCABULARY.

That's all for today's hive blogging orientation for Grade 12 students. Have a nice day!🫶

~I joBEElieve I can, so you can!😉🫶
