My first Hivesary: A year of jeannmazingness in Hive!

Cheers to a year of jeannmazingness in Hive!
Wow! Time flies so fast. Yesterday, on the 17th day of September 2024, I celebrated my first anniversary on Hive. I remember not knowing about Hive before. I didn't even know it existed until my cousin shared it with me. My love of writing piqued my interest, and I was eager to join. I was still in college at that time, about to start my classes. I had really been wishing to attend a face-to-face orientation before my classes started. On September 9, 2023, I joined an orientation. I attended that orientation with just two hours of sleep because the previous day was a fiesta celebration in our place, and I was up all night. What's funny is that when I got to the meeting place, I saw my elementary teachers. We both attended the Hive orientation. That was indeed an unexpected meeting with some of my beloved elementary teachers.

Besides that, I learned a lot about Hive and was very grateful because I thought, "Oh, thankfully! I've been introduced to this!" I remember it was Sir @ybanezkim26, Miss @indayclara, and Sir @intoy.bugoy who discussed Hive. Super thankful for these three. On September 17, 2023, I finally published my first blog, which was my self-introduction.

I'm beyond grateful to be part of the OCD onboarding program. I was onboarded by Sir @intoy.bugoy, and yes, since day one, with all the unending questions up until now, I constantly receive the same assistance, motivation, and support. You know what? I never imagined that I would receive such a welcoming presence when I entered Hive. The warm welcome from the people is definitely overwhelming. I've engaged with different people around the world. I've interacted with many people who share the same passions and interests as me. I've read about such amazing experiences. I've written about some wonderful happenings in my life and some unsaid thoughts that I felt I needed to share. I've discovered and explored more than I expected about Hive. It's literally greater than I expected.

Then, I started to write more blogs and definitely enjoyed what I was doing. Even at school, my classmates would tease me a lot, saying, "Here comes the blogger!" because they often noticed that I was busy writing something on my phone. I took more photos than I usually did. I was always talking about Hive because I was totally happy with what I was doing. Here come the blogs I wrote, 1, 2, and 3, when we conducted face-to-face orientations. The aspiring ones have joined and successfully entered Hive. Happenings in school got even funnier, considering some of us are already using Hive, and I was so glad because finally we could now relate to each other. Then I started inviting more people—friends of friends—who wanted to join Hive, as well as those who came from other universities.

Now, I can't believe I'm still thriving here in Hive and that I have already surpassed one year of being a Hiver! It seems like I've been here for only a few months, but I never imagined it was already one year ago. Yesterday, September 17, 2024, marked my first Hivesary, and throughout the year, I posted 57 blogs. For now, September 18, 2024, marks the fresh start of my new year in Hive, and here’s to more Hivesaries to celebrate in the future. All I can say is that this past year in Hive has been a road of rich experiences. It has been truly wonderful, woven with threads of creativity and connection. I've learned a lot, making my heart so full right now. Cheers to more years of @jeannmazing -ness in Hive. Thank you, lovely people!
