For the Love of Hive: A Successful Hive Orientation in the Web 3.0 Blockchain Era Held at Workplace Cafe in Cebu City

FOR THE LOVE OF HIVE
I've been on Hive for 3 months now, and this has been the best platform I've ever been on. For the love of writing, I cherish and constantly feel honored to be part of this wonderful online community. I have met such amazing people from various places and countries. I have learned a lot here at Hive. With that, I cannot just gatekeep this one. I feel the need to share it with other people and let them experience firsthand the overwhelming feeling I've felt in here.
THE HIVE MAGIC

Ever since I've started my blogging journey, I have been very open regarding it with my friends and relatives. While constantly sharing with them my interactions here in Hive, it somehow piqued their interest. I even have them borrow my phone and let them read different blogs posted. I've always felt their enthusiasm to be part of this world of blogging. As always mentioned by Sir @ybanezkim26, Miss @indayclara, and Sir @intoy.bugoy, we must spread this amazing platform and allow aspiring content creators to discover Hive. That's why I immediately requested an orientation in the city, and gratefully, it has been accepted right away.

I got 10 people. These attendees are my cousins and friends who have passion for writing and sharing contents. The person available for the orientation and onboarding was Sir @intoy.bugoy. Due to consideration that the speaker could do a smooth and pretty thorough discussion, we thought beforehand of an exact place where we would hold our orientation. When we take into account the various important aspects, it has come down to being held at Workplace Cafe in Banawa, Guadalupe, Cebu City. So Sir @intoy.bugoy booked a reservation which was due yesterday. Yes, dear Hivers, the orientation in the city was held on December 17, 2023, exactly yesterday.

This is actually my first time attending an orientation after joining Hive. This meeting room we have rented, by the way, is good for 20 people, and it's very convenient for us since we have free access to wifi, complimentary coffee, projectors, and all. Considering all that, a productive orientation would be more possible. Initially, Sir @intoy.bugoy did set-ups, preparing to start.

INTRODUCTION OF OURSELVES
Before delving into the formal orientation, what we did first was introduce ourselves. We all introduced ourselves one at a time, and we had the attendees share their hobbies. It was a very light and happy conversation—no dull moments, for real.

FORMAL ORIENTATION
After introducing ourselves, the orientation has officially started. First, Sir @intoy.bugoy introduced himself, including his co-onboarders, to everyone. We were all ears and fervent when the discussion about Hive began.

It started with the Hive promotional video, which evidently caught everyone's attention. Followed by the facts of Hive and everything, as well as what the OCD onboarding program is. The attendees were taught relevant information, including account creation and how the platform works. From the basics to quality content posting, how to get curated, the hive ecosystems, the rules and regulations highlighting the do's and don'ts in Hive and in different communities, cryptoblogging, and everything they had to know. I was able to share my knowledge with them, like how to create a post, how to use the navigation keys, understand account specifics, and other significant information.

ADDRESSING QUESTIONS AND CLARIFICATIONS
After all the discussion, the table has been opened for any questions and clarifications. The attendees have asked some questions related to Hive, which just shows how invested they are in the platform. Chitchats regarding Hive were continued with a sip of coffee.

PICTURE-TAKING
Right after everything, we took pictures. Indeed, yesterday's orientation was a memorable and successful event. My friends have been much overwhelmed by the things they have learned regarding Hive, especially me as well.

I've been very happy all the time to have witnessed in real-time these amazing, significant people opening their doors towards the world of blogging. I was also just so over the moon after having this Cebu City orientation request granted. With that, I was just so immensely grateful for everyone behind this program, especially Sir @intoy.bugoy, for taking the time to travel all the way to the city.

We exited the meeting room and went to pay for the rental fee. All in all, everything went smoothly and perfectly. This is another positive momentum towards a growing community of content creators. A world to communicate, to share quality contents, to bee creative, and to bee influenced by amazing people through writing.

To provide you with something extra, here's a quick mini-tour of our orientation venue.
