En esta oportunidad quiero relatarles la experiencia vivida la mañana del pasado sábado en el Parque del este de Barquisimeto, donde nos encontramos como comunidad hive que hace vida en esta ciudad.

Este segundo meetup tuvo dos objetivos principales: en primer lugar celebrar el primer cumpleaños como comunidad hive en Barquisimeto y el segundo, estimular la integración entre sus miembros, favoreciendo el intercambio de ideas con el propósito de mejorar y crecer de manera sana y exitosa.

Greetings to the entire #hive community, especially to the hivers that make up this beautiful community of @lovinghive.

In this opportunity I want to tell you about the experience lived last Saturday morning at the Parque del Este in Barquisimeto, where we met as a hive community that makes life in this city.

This second meetup had two main objectives: first, to celebrate the first birthday as a hive community in Barquisimeto and second, to stimulate integration among its members, promoting the exchange of ideas in order to improve and grow in a healthy and successful way.

La mañana se inició con una fuerte lluvia tempranera que duró poco pero continuó amenazante toda la mañana, a tal punto que pensé que el evento iba a ser suspendido ya que el sitio escogido estaba al aire libre.

Sin embargo, la lluvia fue desapareciendo y pude desplazarme hasta el sitio de la reunión,el ambiente era muy agradable pues la temperatura había descendido y no había mucho calor. Allí encontré caras conocidas como @wbrandt, @filoriologo y @zullyscott y otros que todavía no conocía en persona como @manuelgil64, @nahinels, @tsunsica, @yonnathang y @neruel entre otros.

The morning began with an early heavy rain that lasted a short time but continued threatening all morning, to the point that I thought that the event was going to be suspended since the chosen site was outdoors.

However, the rain was disappearing and I was able to move to the meeting site, the atmosphere was very pleasant as the temperature had dropped and there was not much heat. There I found familiar faces like @wbrandt, @filoriologo and @zullyscott and others that I had not yet met in person like @manuelgil64, @nahinels, @tsunsica, @yonnathang and @neruel among others.

Lo cierto fue que poco a poco fueron llegando los hivers a la celebración y @zullyscott inició el intercambio de ideas para aumentar la integración entre cada uno de las personas que forman parte de la comunidad hive en la ciudad de Barquisimeto. De alli salieron varias sugerencias que fueron anotadas para ser tomadas en cuenta y proceder a estudiar su utilización a los fines de aumentar nuestro crecimiento como comunidad.

Posteriormente para hacer más ameno el compartir, se llevaron a cabo rifas muy enriquecedoras, debido a que se trataba de responder algunas preguntas referentes a nuestro trabajo en hive. Algunas de las respuestas eran desconocidas para mi, pero con la ayuda de las pistas que nos facilitaron logré ganar un hermoso llavero. Lo bueno fue que hubo premios para todos los presentes y todos contentos nos sentimos ganadores.

The truth was that little by little the hivers were arriving to the celebration and @zullyscott initiated the exchange of ideas to increase the integration between each one of the people that integrate the hive community in the city of Barquisimeto. From there came out several suggestions that were noted to be taken into account and proceed to study their use in order to increase our growth as a community.

Afterwards, to make the sharing more enjoyable, very enriching raffles were carried out, because it was about answering some questions regarding our work in hive. Some of the answers were unknown to me, but with the help of the clues provided I managed to win a beautiful keychain. The good thing was that there were prizes for everyone present and we were all happy to feel like winners.

Por supuesto, en este cumpleaños no podía faltar la torta. Ya para finalizar, nos reunimos todos los hivers alrededor de la torta para entonar la tradicional canción de feliz cumpleaños, deseando que sean muchos más años de fructífera labor y donde todos podamos integrarnos como una gran familia.

Of course, on this birthday we could not miss the cake. Finally, all the hivers gathered around the cake to sing the traditional happy birthday song, wishing for many more years of fruitful work and where we can all integrate as one big family.

Luego de degustar la rica torta de chocolate que nos regaló @zullyscott me retiré del sitio, no sin antes compartir inquietudes con mis compañeros de hive y deseando que muy pronto volvamos a repetir la experiencia de otro meetup.

En resumen, fue una experiencia muy enriquecedora donde pude conocer a varios de los hivers de la comunidad de Barquisimeto, compartí con ellos algunas impresiones, disfrutamos de la naturaleza y lo más importante es que este solo es el comienzo de una serie de encuentros que serán programados a fin de lograr una apertura no solo en la ciudad de Barquisimeto sino en toda Venezuela.

After tasting the delicious chocolate cake that @zullyscott gave us, I left the site, but not before sharing concerns with my fellow hive members and wishing that very soon we will repeat the experience of another meetup.

In summary, it was a very enriching experience where I was able to meet several of the hivers of the Barquisimeto community, I shared with them some impressions, we enjoyed nature and the most important thing is that this is only the beginning of a series of meetings that will be scheduled in order to achieve an opening not only in the city of Barquisimeto but throughout Venezuela.
