Este año definitivamente han pasado muchas cosas en hive, el marketing ha subido por las nubes y en varias de esas actividades he participado. Honestamente cuando ingrese a la blockchain en el año 2021 no me esperaba nada de esto, si bien el crecimiento puede ser medido de muchas maneras, quiero enfocar mi 2023 en lo que ha sido significativo para mi más que en el activismo en que pude haber estado involucrado, pues de eso ya he hablado anteriormente.
Este año hive me ha dado varias lecciones, una de ellas es una lección de humildad en cuanto a la creación de contenido. Muchas veces pensamos que nuestro contenido es el mejor ya que sabemos cuánto nos ha costado hacerlo y tenemos ciertas nociones de lo que se requiere para realizar una publicación de calidad, sin embargo en hive hay tantos creadores de contenido en el mismo nicho que nos muestran la realidad, no somos los mejores, hay otros. Esto lo aprendí a medida que fui avanzando y me hizo meditar bastante en cómo mejorar, lo cual es un desafío constante.
Otra lección que me dio hive es acerca de la perseverancia. En mi primer año en la blockchain fue muy beneficioso para mí, sobretodo en la parte económica. Recuerdo llegar a estar en el trending en varias ocasiones, claro, en aquel entonces la forma de curar de algunas ballenas y proyectos era muy diferente a lo que es hoy en día, no habían tantos votos asignados y tampoco muchos círculos de votos, por lo que en este año me toco nadar contra la corriente y aun lo sigo haciendo. Estar en un bear market ha sido un completo desafío como creador, no sé cuántas publicaciones realice en el año contando esta pero sé que han pasado las doscientas, y eso es un gran logro pues he permanecido todo este 2023 activo a pesar de las circunstancias.
Sumado a eso mi familia ha conocido hive, esto es de suma importancia. Mi esposa @siriromo está dedicada al hogar, a la crianza y al cuidado que todo eso requiere, desde un tiempo luego que nos casamos ha sido así. Sin embargo ella ha podido encontrar un espacio en hive para compartir su contenido. En ese sentido ha sido muy significativo porque está aprendiendo algo nuevo, y también me ha enseñado algo nuevo a mí, lo cual es guiar a una persona en su caminar aquí en la colmena. Anteriormente he traído algunos amigos a hive pero ninguno de ellos ha permanecido, no se han enamorado de hive, pero en cuanto a mi esposa puedo decir todo lo contrario, no ha cumplido un año aun pero está encantada con todo lo que hive es y eso me trae satisfacción, además está involucrada en algunos movimientos y también ha conocido otros hivers de la ciudad. Realmente ha sido muy beneficioso en ese aspecto hive para nosotros.
This year has definitely seen a lot happen at hive, marketing has gone through the roof and I have participated in several of those activities. Honestly when I entered the blockchain in 2021 I didn't expect any of this, while growth can be measured in many ways, I want to focus my 2023 on what has been meaningful to me rather than the activism I may have been involved in, as I've talked about that before.
This hive year has taught me several lessons, one of which is a lesson in humility when it comes to content creation. Many times we think that our content is the best since we know how much it has cost us to make it and we have certain notions of what it takes to make a quality publication, however in hive there are so many content creators in the same niche that show us the reality, we are not the best, there are others. I learned this as I went along and it made me meditate a lot on how to improve, which is a constant challenge.
Another lesson hive taught me is about perseverance. In my first year in blockchain it was very beneficial for me, especially in the economic part. I remember being trending on several occasions, of course, back then the way of curing some whales and projects was very different from what it is today, there were not so many votes assigned and not many voting circles, so in this year I had to swim against the current and I'm still doing it. Being in a bear market has been a complete challenge as a creator, I do not know how many publications I made in the year counting this one but I know that I have passed two hundred, and that is a great achievement because I have remained active all this 2023 despite the circumstances.
In addition to that my family has known hive, this is of utmost importance. My wife @siriromo is dedicated to the home, parenting and the care that all that requires, since some time after we got married it has been like that. However she has been able to find a space on hive to share her content. In that sense it has been very meaningful because she is learning something new, and she has also taught me something new, which is guiding a person on their journey here in the hive. I have previously brought some friends to hive but none of them have stayed, they have not fallen in love with hive, but as for my wife I can say quite the opposite, she is not a year old yet but she is loving everything that hive is and that brings me satisfaction, plus she is involved in some movements and has also met other hivers in the city. It has really been very beneficial in that aspect hive for us.

Estas cosas han sido muy significativas para mi este año en hive, el conocimiento adquirido, la incomodidad de solo crear contenido, la diversificación para alcanzar objetivos, son muchas cosas que hive me ha enseñado en este 2023.
También quiero resaltar como hive me ha ayudado en mi salud. Generalmente soy una persona muy activa, me encanta hacer deportes, de hecho es algo que he realizado en la mayor parte de mi vida, pero debo confesar que este año en cuanto al trote estaba paralizado, solo estaba enfocado en flexiones, abdominales, sentadillas, etc., y todo esto en casa. Pero luego del lanzamiento de HiveRun como comunidad oficial dentro de la cadena por @danielvehe decidí ser parte de dicho movimiento, y eso sin duda ha sido muy beneficioso para mí, y también para mi esposa y mis dos hijos pequeños que en ocasiones han participado en las sesiones de entrenamiento.
These things have been very significant for me this year in hive, the knowledge acquired, the discomfort of just creating content, the diversification to achieve goals, are many things that hive has taught me in this 2023.
I also want to highlight how hive has helped me in my health. I am generally a very active person, I love to do sports, in fact it is something I have done in most of my life, but I must confess that this year in terms of jogging I was paralyzed, I was only focused on push-ups, sit-ups, squats, etc., and all this at home. But after the launch of HiveRun as an official community within the network by @danielvehe I decided to be part of that movement, and that has certainly been very beneficial for me, and also for my wife and my two young children who have sometimes participated in the training sessions.
Por último y no menos importante, hive en este 2023 me ha estado cambiando la mentalidad, especialmente en el ámbito corporativo, empresarial, y en sociedad, ¿Cómo así? Es sencillo, cuando llegue a hive tenía una mentalidad de empleado y durante mi primer año me mantuve así, pero el año que culmina mañana se ha encargado de decirme muchas veces que ese no es el camino correcto, y hoy en día puedo visualizar hive de una forma distinta, es una plataforma para desarrollar negocios, y en eso me quiero enfocar en este nuevo año 2024, es una de las metas que tengo y espero poder lograrla.
En definitiva, el 2023 tomado de la mano de hive ha sido para mí bastante sustancioso, y en ese sentido estoy sumamente agradecido, son muchos los que han contribuido en este crecimiento y buen año. Quisiera etiquetarlos pero no deseo hacer spam, pero a todos aquellos que me han enseñado a través de sus contenidos edificantes muchas gracias, y también gracias a todos los proyectos de curación que me han apoyado durante este año. Last but not least, hive in this 2023 has been changing my mentality, especially in the corporate, business, and society, how so? It is simple, when I arrived at hive I had an employee mentality and during my first year I kept it that way, but the year that ends tomorrow has been responsible for telling me many times that this is not the right way, and today I can visualize hive in a different way, it is a platform to develop business, and that is what I want to focus on in this new year 2024, it is one of the goals I have and I hope to achieve it.
In short, 2023 taken hand in hand with hive has been quite substantial for me, and in that sense I am extremely grateful, there are many who have contributed to this growth and good year.
