Technological Tools and @brujita18 (Eng/ Esp)

I have been fortunate to have been able to live through different eras, where technological advances have gone hand in hand with the times; tools that have made our lives easier, even at the reach of a touch. I remember when I was a little girl back in the 70's and two of my favorite cartoons were the Flintstones and the Supersonic, they were like saying the beginning and the after....

The Flintstones, showed in an ingenious way that the first humans, in prehistoric times, used rudimentary tools, such as the wheel and many others, which I found very funny, but at the same time showed how those first humans used them to survive, of course all made up with a lot of imagination...

Likewise, The Supersonics, showed the future, there they showed video calls, flying cars and all sorts of devices that made life easier for humans with the push of a button, I loved to imagine that my future would be something similar ..., I saw it very far away; but I myself have been able to see these technological tools over the years to originate and advance, as the first simple cell phones, tablets, smart phones and many more ...

Today, many things can be managed by apps, surveillance system, cleaning system, activation of all home equipment such as, TV, refrigerators, washing machines, dryers and let's stop counting. As I see it, the influence of these technological advances, the one that is more at the hand of anyone are smartphones, you can see it as part of the identity of people; it is strange not to see someone using their cell phone, even in the most remote countries, they are present.

This to speak of one of these tools has improved communications throughout the world, they have been very useful, it became evident especially in the days of pandemic, through a phone was that you could keep in touch with friends and family, its uses are very important because you have in your hands, practically a mini computer that helps you not only to communicate, but to search for any information, location, information and so on.

But what has also brought the sometimes excessive use of this tool, in many people has created an excessive addiction, where they can not be without their phones in their hands, along with social networks like Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp and many other applications, which are easily managed through them, not including online games; then you can see how especially among young people the attachment to their mobile devices is even unhealthy resulting in tragedies in many families, to be banned for any reason the use of them ....

It is very worrying, as many hide behind this virtual world to the point of losing their humanity ..., that when focusing on these tools in specific, that of networks and smartphones. I think that everything has its positive and negative parts, the trick is to use them, but without losing what is important, what makes us special as human beings, keeping a middle ground and giving them the place that these things have, which is a means to make our life easier, nothing more...

On the other hand, we must promote and teach our old customs, our cultures, keep them alive through the generations, so that we never forget where we come from and that we know that at any given moment we will know what to do and where to go, if we do not have these tools at our disposal. It is important to know our origins and keep it always present.

He tenido la fortuna de haber podido vivir diferentes épocas, donde los avances tecnológicos han ido de la mano de los tiempos; herramientas que nos han hecho la vida más sencilla, al alcance incluso de un toque. Recuerdo que cuando era pequeña allá por los años 70 y tantos y dos de mis comiquitas preferidas eran la de los Picapiedras y los Supersónicos, eran como decir el comienzo y el después...

Los Picapiedras, mostraban de forma ingeniosa en que los primeros humanos, en la época prehistórica, se servían de unas herramientas rudimentarias, como la rueda y otras tantas más, que me parecían muy divertidas, pero a la vez mostraban como esos primeros humanos se valieron de ellas para sobrevivir, claro todo maquillado con mucha imaginación...

Igualmente, Los Supersonicos, mostraban al futuro, allí mostraban las videollamadas, los autos voladores y toda suerte de artefactos que le facilitaban la vida a los humanos con solo oprimir un botón, me encantaba imaginarme que mi futuro llegara a ser algo parecido..., lo veía muy lejano; pero yo misma he podido ver estas herramientas tecnológicas a lo largo de los años originarse y avanzar, como los primeros teléfonos móviles sencillos, las tablets, los teléfonos inteligentes y muchas cosas más...

Hoy en día, muchas cosas se pueden manejar por apps, sistema de vigilancia, de limpieza, activación de todos los equipos del hogar como, TV, neveras, lavadoras, secadoras y paremos de contar. A mi manera de ver, la influencia de estos avances tecnológicos, el que más está a la mano de cualquiera son los teléfonos inteligentes, puedes verlo como parte casi que de la identidad de las personas; es extraño no ver a alguien usando su teléfono móvil, hasta en los países más recónditos, están presentes.

Esto por hablar de una de estas herramientas ha mejorado las comunicaciones a través del mundo, han sido de gran utilidad, se puso de manifiesto sobre todo en los días de pandemia, por medio de un teléfono era que se podía mantener contacto con amigos y familiares, sus usos son muy importantes porque tienes en las manos, prácticamente una mini computadora que te ayuda no solo a comunicarte, sino a buscar cualquier información, ubicación, información y demás.

Pero ¿qué ha traído también el uso a veces desmedido de esta herramienta?, en muchas personas ha creado una adicción desmedida, donde no pueden estar sin sus móviles en sus manos, junto a las redes sociales como Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp y otras muchas más aplicaciones, que fácilmente se manejan por medio de ellos, sin incluir los juegos en línea; entonces puedes ver como especialmente entre los jóvenes el apego a sus aparatos móviles es incluso enfermizo dando por resultado tragedias en muchas familias, al serles vedado por cualquier motivo el uso de los mismos…

Es muy preocupante, como muchos se esconden tras este mundo virtual al punto de perder su humanidad …, eso al enfocarnos en estas herramientas en específico, el de las redes y los teléfonos móviles inteligentes. Pienso que todo tiene sus partes positivas y negativas, el truco está en servirse de ellas, pero sin perder lo importante, lo que nos hace especiales como seres humanos, manteniendo un término medio y dándole el lugar que estas cosas tienen, que es un medio para hacernos la vida más sencilla, más nada...

Por otro lado, hay que promover y enseñar nuestras viejas costumbres, nuestras culturas, mantenerlas vivas a través de las generaciones, para que nunca se nos olvide de donde provenimos y que sepamos que en un momento dado sabremos qué hacer y por donde ir , si no tenemos a disposición estos utensilios. Es importante saber de nuestros orígenes y mantenerlo siempre presente.
