El campeonato mundial de ajedrez ya está en marcha; y la ciudad Astana, de Kazajistán se vistió de gala para presenciar el duelo entre los Grandes Maestros Ian Nepomniachtchi (Rusia) y Ding Liren (China).
Este campeonato será disputado a 14 rondas a partidas de ritmo clásico, donde el contendiente que acumule 7,5 puntos será el próximo monarca del ajedrez mundial.
Esta edición tendrá algo muy significativo, tendrá un nuevo campeón, valga la redundancia, debido a que el actual campeón Gran Maestro Magnus Carlsen dimitió, menciono en meses anteriores, que no quería defender el título, solo lo haría si el retador fuera alguien en especifico, Alireza Firouzja; el cual no clasifico en el torneo de candidatos; eso conllevó al Noruego a tomar esta drástica decisión cuestionada por muchos.
Los actuales competidores son dos de los mejores ajedrecistas del mundo, que se han mantenido por mucho tiempo en la elite de las 64 casillas, superando a muchos grandes trebejistas.
Ian Nepomniachtchi (Rusia) en la actualidad figura como el segundo mejor jugador con 2795 puntos de Elo Fide, ex – retador anterior (sub – campeón mundial) y se ha mantenido firme en el torneo de candidatos ganándolo por 2 años seguidos, lo cual lo mantiene en su ardua lucha por ser el monarca de las 64 casillas.
A opinión personal, es un jugador bastante táctico – estratégico, pero considero que todo retador no tiene nada que perder, sino más bien algo que ganar, debe arriesgar hasta el final y no quedarse con intentar hacer una buena actuación. En el match anterior ante Carlsen, Nepo fue bastante conservador y una vez que estuvo abajo en el marcador intento ir por la victoria; pero ya era demasiado tarde, a la bestia Noruega no se le puede dar la mas mínima ventaja.
En este nuevo match espero sea mas incisivo y pueda ganar algunas partidas en el ritmo clásico.
El GM Ding Liren representante del gigante asiático; figura como el tercer mejor rankeado a nivel mundial con 2788, ha sido el primer jugador chino en pasar la barrera de los 2800 puntos, consiguió el segundo lugar en el torneo de candidatos, y ante la decisión de Magnus, Liren es convocado para disputar el título.
Este jugador posee un estilo posicional muy sólido, en algunas ocasiones lo he visto derrotar a Carlsen, si mi memoria no falla, en una partida rápida, me gustaría ver proclamado a este ajedrecista, por varias razones; una de ellas sería que la escuela rusa de ajedrez todavía no recuperaría el trono el cual ha sido luchado durante años y ha tenido respuesta negativa, sería el primer jugador Chino en conseguirlo en la “modalidad absoluta” y una nueva cara, una nueva generación estaría comandando el mundo de los 64 escaques.
La primera partida del match resulto en tablas, sin hacerse tanto daño, para entrar en calor del ajedrez mundial, la apertura española fue la encargada de abrir el escenario.
La apertura española, es la primera apertura que se enseña a una persona que esta aprendiendo a jugar al ajedrez; ella cuenta con una variedad de conceptos que engloban la esencia del juego; desde tiempos inmemorables muchos maestros han contribuido al desarrollo de su teoría; teniendo dentro de sus grandes practicantes, Ruy Lopez de Segura, Morphy, Andersen, Lasker, la lista sería inmensa, pero los jugadores de élite la dominan con gran facilidad; este match mundial va ser clave en el repertorio de los contendientes.
En esta instancia Nepo; pone en práctica su primera estrategia, Axc6!? ; con esta jugada se entra en la variante del cambio diferido, en la cual el planteamiento es entregar la pareja de alfiles a cambio de entrar en un final intercambiando el peón en d4, las damas y posterior el cambio de todas las piezas menores; de esa manera el blanco obtendría una victoria fácil por su mayoría de peones en el flanco de rey.
Liren demostró estar preparado contra esta apertura, en el match por el campeonato del mundo pasado, se jugaron varias partidas con esta apertura, así que estaba básicamente anunciado.
En este diagrama, en azúl seleccione los peones del flanco de rey; el blanco tiene mayoría, su plan esta mas que claro, cambiar todas las piezas; si en este momento no existieran, sería una victoria anunciada, simplemente porque los 3 peones del flanco de dama de las blancas detienen a los 4 peones de las negras.
Nepo mantiene su estrategia intacta, pero el Chino al ser debutante en esta competición realizó un excelente manejo de los tiempos, este empate con piezas negras para el asiático, en mi opinión personal consideró "es una victoria psicológica".
Para finalizar con esta primera partida, sin mucho mas que analizar, una igualdad de principio a fin, sin hacerce daño; en verde los alfiles de diferentes colores le agrega otro componente más desde el medio juego de la partida, para que en el final sean elementos decisivos para pactar las tablas.
En los match anteriores del Campeonato Mundial, Carlsen derroto a todos sus rivales; V. Anand (2 veces), S. Karjakin, F. Caruana, I. Nepomniachtchi. En referencia a eso, contra Anand lo derroto las dos veces en clásico, mientras que a Caruana y Karjakin en ritmo rápido, por un tiempo se creyo que el ajedrez clásico estaba muriendo, el gran número de análisis de medios electrónicos han buscado la perfección en las líneas de aperturas - defensas. Carlsen incluso propuso jugar al ajedrez 960 para evitar todas esas preparaciones.
Los grandes maestros de élite tienen pocos errores en este ritmo, con excepción del último match donde el campeón salió nuevamente de las partidas pensadas.
