¡Damas y Caballeros ha comenzado la Serie del Caribe 2024 y los 7 clubes campeones de sus ligas en los países de Puerto Rico, Dominicana, Venezuela, México, Panamá, Nicaragua y Curazao se disputarán desde el día de hoy jueves 1 de Febrero al viernes 9 de Febrero el campeonato caribeño que se celebrará en Miami, Florida! El Campeón actual Tigres del Licey de la República Dominicana estará defendiendo su título logrado en Venezuela en Febrero del 2023. Aquí les traigo el análisis de cada equipo con sus debilidades y fortalezas. ⚾🎉

Ladies and Gentlemen the Caribbean Series 2024 has begun and the 7 champion clubs of their leagues in the countries of Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Mexico, Panama, Nicaragua and Curacao will compete from today Thursday February 1st to Friday February 9th for the Caribbean championship to be held in Miami, Florida! The current champion Tigres del Licey of the Dominican Republic will be defending their title won in Venezuela in February 2023. Here I bring you the analysis of each team with their weaknesses and strengths. ⚾🎉

Estos son los equipos que quedaron campeones en sus respectivas ligas y que disputarán la Serie del Caribe 2024: 🏆🙌
Por Puerto Rico van los Criollos de Caguas, por la República Dominicana van los Tigres del Licey, por Venezuela van los Tiburones de La Guaira, por México van los Naranjeros de Hermosillo, por Panamá van los Federales de Chiriquí, por Nicaragua van los Gigantes de Rivas y por Curazao van los Curacao Suns.

Total de títulos por países: Dominicana (22), Puerto Rico (16), México (9), Cuba (8), Venezuela (7), Panamá (2) y Colombia que no fue invitado tiene (1).

Los máximos ganadores de Puerto Rico junto a los Cangrejeros de Santurce con 5 títulos del Caribe para cada uno buscarán quedarán en solitario en la cima de campeonatos y para ellos tendrán como mánager a La Leyenda Yadier Molina quien quedó Campeón con ellos en esta campaña en su país tras haber quedado eliminado rápido con Magallanes en la campaña pasada en la Liga Venezolana de Béisbol. Las figuras a destacar por los Criollos de Caguas son: Enmanuel Rivera, Ricardo Gómez, Alex Claudio, Christian Torres, Vimael Machín y Jancarlos Cintrón. Justo hoy derrotaron 5-2 a Gigantes de Rivas de Nicaragua en el primer juego de la cita caribeña. (Rival que está entre los grandes favoritos para llevarse el título).

Un duro escollo El Licey que les tocó a los otros 6 equipos y que además va por el Bicampeonato. Su gran figura experimentada y ex MLB es Robinson Canó quien es el Capitán de este equipo. Junto a él destacan las figuras como Junior Lake, Jorge Alfaro, Emilio Bonifacio, Raúl Valdés y el interminable César Valdéz quien ganó el último juego de la Serie del Caribe en Caracas frente a los locales Leones del Caracas. (Un equipo que tranquilamente puede repetir el título por historia, nombres y experiencia en este torneo).

Después de 38 años sin poder ganar en la LVPB tendremos a los escualos en la Serie del Caribe y buscarán dar la sorpresa en Miami contra todos los pronósticos. Aunque varios peloteros no pudieron viajar a los Estados Unidos por falta de Visa, van de la mano de su mánager Oswaldo Guillén quien busca en ser el único en ganar la LVBP, la MLB y el evento caribeño como estratega. De los peloteros más destacados tenemos a Alcides Escobar, Ricardo Pinto, Yasiel Puig, Leonardo Reginatto, junto a los refuerzos Jhoulys Chacín, Alexi Amarista, Odubel Herrera y Wilson Ramos. Recordemos que ningún club de Venezuela ha ganado la Serie del Caribe desde el año 2009 cuando lo hicieron los Tiburones de La Guaira. (Equipo que podría dar la sorpresa, pero que no está entre los favoritos como los 2 clubes anteriores).

Los peloteros a tomar en cuenta son Manny Barreda, Odrisamer Despaigne, Jeff Kinley, Aaron Altherr, Wilmer Ríos, Jon Van Meter, Agustín Murillo y José Cardona. (Equipo que tampoco está entre los favoritos, pero que sin duda cuenta con un buen pitcheo).

Sus figuras destacadas son Ariel Sandoval, Saúl Garza, Wilfredo Pereira y Jhonny Santos, entre otros. Además cuentan con el mánager más joven en ganar un título en Panamá como lo es José Mayorga. (La pelota es redonda, cualquier cosa puede pasar, pero no están siquiera entre los 4 principales candidatos a llevarse el título).

De los equipos con menos bombos y platillos que llega a la Serie del Caribe tenemos al de Curazao, un equipo que tiene varios peloteros que estuvieron en la MLB y además de muchos jóvenes que así como los Tiburones vienen a dar la campanada en el torneo del Caribe. El estratega Hainley Statia quien ya tiene muchos años trabajando en el béisbol tiene a peloteros destacados como Jurickson Profar, Jonathan Schoop, el estelar Andrelton Simmons y el excampocorto de los Yankees Didi Gregorius. (Este equipo no viene a pasear y solo tomarse fotos. Hay que estar atentos porque tienen peloteros con experiencia y de buen cartel élite en la pelota).
