In general it is impossible to win a game of chess or even get an advantage without tactics. However, during the game, the simple knowledge of the most common tactical motives saves time and facilitates the calculation in order to find a correct combination that allows us to win or save the game.
Tactics, one of the main resources of the game, helps us to alter the situation on the board in a radical way. Psychological factors such as the surprise effect or the aesthetics of the sacrifice also have an influence.
Therefore, it is absolutely essential to develop the necessary practical knowledge and our imaginative vision.
On a personal level, before playing a game, many times I dedicate
time to solve exercises and tactical problems to improve my form as a player; thus improving my imagination and calculation technique.

En general es imposible ganar una partida de ajedrez u obtener siquiera ventaja sin táctica. Sin embargo, durante el juego, el simple conocimiento de los motivos tácticos más comunes permite ahorrar tiempo y facilitar el cálculo de cara a encontrar una combinación correcta que nos permita vencer o salvar la partida.
La táctica, uno de los recursos principales del juego, nos ayuda a alterar la situación en el tablero de un modo radical. También influyen factores psicológicos como el efecto sorpresa o la estética del sacrificio.
Por lo tanto, es absolutamente imprescindible desarrollar los conocimientos prácticos necesarios y nuestra visión imaginativa.
A nivel personal, antes de jugar una partida, muchas veces dedico
tiempo a resolver ejercicios y problemas de táctica para mejorar mi forma como jugador; con ello mejoran la imaginación y la técnica de cálculo.

Combinations/Combinaciones!!!

Combination: This is a forced variant accompanied by one or more sacrifices aimed at producing a favorable change in our position or destroying the position or plans of the opponent.

Combinación: se trata de una variante forzada acompañada de uno o más sacrificios orientada a producir un cambio favorable en nuestra posición o a destruir la posición o los planes del adversario.

The necessary elements that determine a possible combination

1. Dynamic coordination of two or more pieces/peons
2. Forced character of the variant (or variants).
3. Presence of the sacrifice.
4. Positive objective of a tactical operation.
   In chess practice every position is very concrete and therefore the tactical possibilities are innumerable. However, there are combinations, which are well known for their schemes and motives. In the same way that typical strategic elements are classified according to themes such as, for example, the pair of bishops, typical tactical elements also have their own classification.

Los elementos necesarios que determinan una posible combinación

En la práctica del ajedrez cada posición es muy concreta y por ello las posibilidades tácticas son innumerables. Sin embargo, existen combinaciones bien conocidas por sus esquemas y motivos. Del mismo modo que los elementos estratégicos típicos están clasificados según temas como, por ejemplo, la pareja de alfiles, los elementos tácticos típicos también cuentan con una clasificación propia.

Double attack/El Doble Ataque.

The double attack is the simplest tactical element to win material, when we attack two (or more) of the opponent's pieces at the same time, with a piece of our own or pawn. Also this simultaneous attack can be against a piece and an enemy's weak point. When we make a move and create two threats, we call it a double attack (or pawn or knight fork). The defender therefore faces at least two threats, and cannot solve both in a single move.

El doble ataque es el elemento táctico más simple para ganar material, cuando atacamos dos (o más) piezas del adversario a la vez, con una pieza propia o peón. También este ataque simultáneo puede ser contra una pieza y un punto débil enemigo. Cuando hacemos una jugada y creamos dos amenazas, le llamamos doble ataque (o tenedor de peón,o de caballo). El defensor se enfrenta, por tanto, a dos amenazas como mínimo, y no puede resolver ambas en una sola jugada.

Any piece can make a double attack or fork, even the king himself. Queen and knight are pieces most often used in these tactical motifs, while surprising your opponent with a pawn fork is more difficult. The long-range bishop is also quite effective. Double rook attacks are rare until rows and columns start to open, late middlegame and endgame

Cualquier pieza puede realizar un doble ataque o tenedor, hasta el propio rey. Dama y caballo son piezas utilizadas más a menudo en estos motivos tácticos, mientras que sorprender a tu rival con un tenedor de peón es más difícil.
