El Liverpool FC recupera la memoria y da un repaso a uno de sus grandes rivales como es el Manchester United al cual le endosó siete goles, lo cual se convierte en la derrota más estrepitosa que ha sufrido los diablos rojos en la Premier League.
Es repetitivo siempre hablar de la muy mala temporada que experimenta el Liverpool de Klopp en esta temporada cuando debe enfrentar a un importante rival, sea por la Premier League o la Champions League; pero es que tanto en las victorias como en las derrotas de ese club parece que es obligatorio enfocar en los factores que influyen más que nada en esa racha negativa que mantuvo fuera de las seis posiciones a este importante club en Inglaterra. En esta temporada, la diferencia de juego entre los dos clubes la considero abismal, pero esto es fútbol y en la disputa de un clásico cualquiera cosa puede pasar y sí que pasó. El equipo de Erik ten Hag, que se proclamó campeón de la Carabao Cup el pasado fin de semana, llegaba con todos sus jugadores disponibles, en mi opinión este equipo de Manchester juega un fútbol muy vistoso, rápido, lleno de presión y todo eso es debido a esa columna formada por Varane, Lisandro, Fred, Casemiro, Bruno Fernandes y Marcus Rashford; todos ellos disponibles y bien acompañados por jugadores que son perfectos para hacer jugar a sus importantes compañeros; ahora por parte del equipo local, era grato ver qué por fin Klopp cuenta con una pareja de centrales más convincentes de las que tuvo en una anterioridad y es que tener a van Dijk y Konaté era algo que debe repetirse de aquí al final de temporada para poder alcanzar las nuevas metas causadas por todo lo malo que ha hecho este equipo en varias competiciones.

El Manchester United tenía una buena oportunidad para cortar una racha negativa que tiene en Anfield porque este gran equipo no gana o no anota más de un gol desde la temporada 2016-2017 y es que si hacemos memoria, la anterior temporada perdieron 4 a 0, pero justamente al ser un nuevo equipo, al tener un nuevo DT y tener una dinámica ganadora, nadie en su sano juicio pensaría que el equipo de ten Hag perdería con uno de los peores equipos defendiendo en esta temporada, pero así como dije anteriormente, esto es fútbol y está era la oportunidad que tenía Klopp y sus jugadores para mandar un mensaje a sus rivales de que este equipo no caerá tan fácilmente. Hay inca característica principal en este juego y es los cambios de posición de algunos jugadores; hace jornadas atrás noté que el Klopp decidió usar a Núñez de extremo izquierdo y dejar a Gakpo cómo nueve o falso nueve, algo positivo para ese club en ataque porque aprovecha la genialidad del delantero neerlandés; creo que todavía se le dificulta tener una tridente en el medio campo titular, pero en este juego tanto Henderson cómo Fabinho, se hicieron enormes y no tuvieron ningún inconveniente en todo el encuentro. El ManUtd presentó un cambio en ataque en dónde Weghorst, jugó de falso enganche y en dónde Bruno no jugó por derecha, ya que en este juego cumplió función de extremo izquierdo, en la derecha estuvo Antony y eso dejó a Rashford como único delantero; en mi humilde opinión ese cambio de Bruno afecto al equipo tanto en ataque como defensa porque el jugador portugués es importante en la presión, recuperación y en las precisas asistencias; todo eso se perdió al estar en el costado izquierdo.

Erik ten Hag al finalizar el juego señaló que sus jugadores no estuvieron concentrados, ni mostraron la actitud que caracteriza al jugador del Manchester United; en eso tiene razón, pero no hay autocrítica con respecto al planteamiento que uso para este juego; en mi opinión le brindo todas las oportunidades para que el Liverpool jugará de la manera que lo hizo en dónde las bandas fue lo más importante, ya que tanto Robertson, Gakpo, Nuñez y Salah; destruyeron la defensa del ManUtd y justamente los antes nombrados junto a Firmino, fueron parte de los siete goles que el equipo de Klopp le propinó al ManUtd. No hay duda que este fue un juego perfecto por parte del Liverpool; sé que anteriormente hice referencia al ataque, pero lo hecho por Alexander-Arnold, Konaté, van DIjk, Henderson y Fabinho, fue suficiente para anular, superar a la pareja de mediocampistas del Manchester United, los cuales no les quedó más de ver el excelente desempeño de todo un equipo que está dispuesto a completar una meta y esa es el ser parte de las competencias en Europa el próximo año y con esta contundente victoria que por ahora los posiciona en el quinto lugar, puede tomarse como referencia para poder dar más alegrías a su afición antes de finalizar la temporada.
