Greetings to all, on this occasion I want to share with you a pleasant anecdote from Friday, after teaching I went to the dojo of a classmate and colleague, Sensei Lenin Angulo, who had a birthday and I thought it appropriate to greet him personally. I left class and arrived around 5:20 pm, I was coming very slowly since at this time the wind is tremendous and it is as if you were walking on beach sand in certain sections of the road, I arrived and they were with the class of the beginners, some tremendous children on this occasion I was a spectator since I did not have my uniform to train, it turns out that I saw myself reflected in my partner who patiently explained the movements to them and they executed them at their own pace, I thought that you really have to have passion and dedication for this and everything that has to do with teaching.
The Copaiba Kan Dojo, which translated means the house of Copaiba, which is a tree typical of Cabimas Venezuela. The facilities where the dojo operates were recovered from abandonment and for a few years karate classes have been taught and currently they also give boxing to interested young people. in this discipline.
Parallel to the karate classes that were taking place, there were some young people training boxing in the external area. I decided to go closer to see their routine and talk a little with their coach. I find their desire to move forward despite all the adversity of everyday life admirable. . That shows how strong we become mentally when we practice a discipline, especially Martial.
At the end of the class we all got together, representatives and friends, to sing birthday songs to two students and to Sensei Angulo, my friend. Everything ended in a very pleasant way and with a pleasant feeling of that afternoon at Copaiba's house.
