En el post anterior, junto con @agreste, nos habíamos planteado el desafío de recorrer 80 kilómetros en bicicleta, dividido en retos más pequeños para ir entrenando. Primero nos planteamos hacer el Circuito Moneta (le inventamos nosotros este nombre porque pasa por un pueblo que se llama Ingeniero Moneta), que son 17 kilómetros.

Este sábado, después de haber entrenado durante toda la semana, salimos a cumplir nuestra primera meta.
Nos esperaba un camino de tierra con muchas subidas y bajadas (según la aplicación que usamos el punto más alto fue de 78 m y desnivel total de 36 m). Además, en algunas partes la tierra parecía arena, y resultaba muy difícil pedalear.
This Saturday, after having trained all week, we went out to meet our first goal.
A dirt road with many ups and downs was waiting for us (according to the app we used, the highest point was 78 m and total elevation gain was 36 m). In addition, in some parts the dirt looked like sand, and it was very difficult to pedal.
Salí con bastante cansancio físico, fue un día de mucho calor, alrededor de 30 grados. Lo maravilloso fue que, cuando llegamos más o menos a la mitad del camino, donde hicimos una pequeña parada para sacar unas fotos al pueblo (ya @agreste les va a mostrar en un post sobre eso), ese cansancio desapareció y se transformó en energía.
I left with a lot of physical tiredness, it was a very hot day, around 30 degrees. The wonderful thing was that, when we got more or less halfway, where we made a small stop to take some pictures of the town (@agreste will show you in a post about that), that tiredness disappeared and transformed into energy.

Agradable… salvo por un pequeño problema con unos perros; serían 5 o 6 que estaban en la entrada de un campo, eran perros medianos y algunos más chicos. No suelo tener problemas con los perros, pero estos nos miraban de manera intimidante y no paraban de ladrarnos; la sensación era que nos iban a atacar. Nos bajamos de las bicicletas y pasamos despacio lo más lejos que nos permitía el camino. No hay fotos de ese momento; creímos que a los perros no les gustaría ser retratados.
Pleasant... except for a small problem with some dogs; there were 5 or 6 that were at the entrance of a field, they were medium sized dogs and some smaller ones. I don't usually have problems with dogs, but they looked at us in an intimidating way and kept barking at us; the feeling was that they were going to attack us. We got off our bikes and rode slowly as far as the road would allow. There are no photos of that moment; we thought the dogs would not like to be photographed.
El resto del circuito, que ya era el camino de regreso (con varias subidas y bajadas), fue genial. Llegamos muy contentos y ¡cumplimos nuestro primer desafío!

Ahora llega el momento de la recompensa. Durante el recorrido nos entraron varios bichos en los ojos, cosa muy molesta. Por lo que decidimos que nuestra recompensa van a ser unos lentes.
