Uno de ellos fue el encuentro entre Carabobo FC vs UCV FC, que finalizó con goleada (4-0) a favor del conjunto local.
Desde que el árbitro mundialista, Jesús Valenzuela, hizo sonar el silbato para que rodara la esférica en el césped del remozado Polideportivo Misael Delgado de Valencia, los locales buscaron anotar lo más pronto posible y casi lo logran a los 6 minutos con un remate de Harrison Contreras que pasó muy cerca del arco tricolor.
Aunque la visita no se amilanaban ante la presión ejercida por los jugadores y por el ambiente en las gradas, llegando en varias ocasiones al arco defendido por el guardameta panameño, Orlando Mosquera.
Los dirigidos por "Tony" Franco poco a poco fueron demostrando superioridad en cada línea y la insistencia terminó dando sus frutos al minuto 20, con un zurdazo en el área del defensor central Carlos Lujano, Carabobo se adelantó en el marcador 1-0.
El partido se mantuvo con la misma tónica, hasta que en el 41' fue expulsado Williams Velásquez por cortar con falta una ocasión clara de gol.
