Pero todo lo que ha sucedido en #HIVE éste primer año, equivale a 6 o 7 años en todos lados ¿Por qué? Es sencillo deducir que el encierro por cuarentena, producto originado en la pandemia del COVID-19, estiró los tiempos percibidos en detrimento de los reales.
A year passes quickly. That is, if you are busy and have no problems beyond the usual ones, a year is nothing. But everything that has happened in #HIVE this first year is the equivalent of 6 or 7 years everywhere else. It is simple to deduce that the quarantine lockdown, a product of the COVID-19 pandemic, stretched the perceived times to the detriment of the real ones.
Y ha sido un torbellino imparable de desafíos vencidos, unos tras otros, sin pausa. Muy parecido a la corta historia de nuestra amada comunidad "Full Deportes", la cual derivó como resultado natural del cambio de paradigma en la antigua cadena, pero que terminó de cimentarse con el nacimiento de #HIVE.
And it has been an unstoppable whirlwind of challenges overcome, one after another, without pause. Much like the short history of our beloved "Full Deportes" community, which derived as a natural result of the paradigm shift at the old network, but which ended up being cemented with the birth of #HIVE.
Llegar al lugar donde se encuentra nuestra comunidad ahora, tampoco ha sido fácil. Incluso, llegamos a tener dudas sobre la viabilidad del proyecto. Principalmente porque lo concebimos y arrancamos nuestro feed, sin identidad gráfica y sin patrocinadores: Y como torbellino también se sucedieron diferentes hitos en muy pocos días, que lanzó la comunidad hacia delante.
Getting to the place where our Community now has not been easy either. We even had doubts about the viability of the project. Mainly because we conceived it and started our feed, without graphic identity and without sponsors: And as a whirlwind also happened different milestones in a few days, which launched the community forward.
Aparecieron los patrocinadores, llegó la identidad gráfica y lo más importante, muchos autores confiaron en que podría ser posible escribir sobre deportes todos los días. Así las cosas, lo único que potenció aún más el crecimiento fue la vuelta de los atletas y deportistas a las canchas y los estadios, justamente cuando parecía que no habría deportes por un largo trecho de tiempo.
Sponsors appeared, the graphic identity arrived, and, most importantly, many authors were confident that it would be possible to write about sports every day. Thus, the only thing that boosted the growth, even more, was the return of athletes and sportsmen to the courts and stadiums, just when it seemed that there would be no sports for a long time.
Ha habido de todo en el feed de la comunidad: plagio, brillantes trabajos, concienzudos análisis, publicaciones muteadas, excelentes semblanzas, experiencias deportivas únicas, deportes no tradicionales, trabajos deficientes y un larguísimo etcétera. Hemos cometido muchos errores y, por supuesto, algunos aciertos.
There has been everything in the community feed: plagiarism, brilliant works, conscientious analysis, muted publications, excellent profiles, unique sports experiences, non-traditional sports, deficient works, and a very long etcetera. We have made many mistakes and, of course, some successes.
Hacer una comunidad necesita varios ingredientes, pero el más importante es la gente que le da forma. Jamás será sencillo entender a todos y, mucho menos, poner a TODOS de acuerdo. Pero pueden estar seguros quienes nos leen: el amor por #Hive y el deporte, guía a nuestro equipo de curadores y a nuestro fundador.
Building a community requires several ingredients, but the most important is the people who shape it. It will never be easy to understand everyone, let alone get EVERYONE on the same page. But those who read us can be sure: the love for #Hive and the sport guides our curatorial team and our founder.
