Este fin de semana continúa la acción del deporte motor con dos carreras muy importantes. El campeonato mundial de MotoGP corre este domingo 10 de Septiembre de 2023 el Gran Premio de San Marino, segunda carrera en semanas consecutiva, siendo esta la fecha 12 de 20 de la presente temporada, un campeonato que cada vez es dominada más por la marca Ducati, pero de esto y mucho más les comentaré más adelante. Por otro lado tenemos a la serie de la copa NASCAR, que esta semana, específicamente el domingo, se dará lo que es la segunda carrera de la ronda de 16 en el óvalo intermedio de Kansas, una cita donde otro piloto querrá asegurar su pase a la siguiente ronda de estas eliminatorias, instancia donde conoceremos quien será el campeón de la categoría.
El campeonato de MotoGP está cada vez más abierto, la marca Ducati esta dominando, no está dejando para nadie, algo que en los últimos dos años ha tornado la categoría reina del motociclismo un poco aburrida y la razón principal se debe al desarrollo en la parte aerodinámica por parte de la marca italiana. Desde que MotoGP implementó más el desarrollo de la moto en el aspecto aerodinámico la categoría se ha tornado tediosa, las carreras muy disparejas, algo que solemos ver mucho en la F1, algo que ha recibido muchas críticas por parte de los fanáticos. El único piloto no Ducati en haber ganado al menos una carrera esta temporada es Brad Binder, en la carrera corta del Gran premio de España en Jerez de la Frontera, las demás 21 competencias (entre carreras sprint y principal) han salido vencedor algún piloto con una moto Ducati, algo que es realmente alarmante.
Una excelente noticia fue que para este Gran Premio de San Marino podrá participar el piloto Pecco Bagnaia, quien sufrió una caída en la pasada carrera en Cataluña la semana pasada, quedando en medio de la pista y toca en sus piernas por otro piloto, algo que causó mucho terror, pero por suerte este salió ileso y recibió el permiso médico para participar esta semana. Y recordar que Pecco es el actual líder del campeonato con 260 puntos, sobre un Jorge Martín que tiene una desventaja de 50 puntos con Pecco. Por otro lado Marco Bezzecchi marcha tercero con 189. Claramente Francesco esta domingo este campeonato 2023 de MotoGP, a pesar de haber sufrido caídas en carreras importantes al inicio de la campaña, pero se ha sabido recuperar y creo que en San Marino será uno de los favoritos para quedarse con el triunfo y estar entre los primeros lugares en cada una de las sesiones.
El único equipo que veo posible darle pelea a las Ducati, ya sea el equipo oficial, Pramac, Aprilia u otros equipos satélites, es a KTM, son los que han colocado algo de emoción al campeonato, sobre todo el sudafricano Brad Binder. En las últimas carreras se ha visto algo de mejoría en el equipo de la marca de los tres diapasones, Yamaha, con el séptimo lugar de Fabio Quartararo en Cataluña el pasado domingo, pero aún no están para pelear la punto y un podio en San Marino será muy motivador para ellos, será un impulso para el desarrollo de la moto del siguiente año. Honda sigue en el abismo, no pueden encontrar el máximo rendimiento de la moto y el piloto referencia Marc Márquez ha tenido múltiples caídas en todo el año, se ha ido al suelo recurrentemente. Creo que Honda esta ya pensando en la Moto de año 2024, pero que mejor de probar cosas en San Marino.
El gran premio de San Marino se disputará en el circuito de Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, ubicado en la región de Emilia-Romaña, Italia. Este circuito tiene una longitud de 4.226 km, además que pasee un total de 16 curvas, 10 curvas son a la derecha y 6 a la izquierda. A ser la mayoría de las curvas hacia la derecha, los pilotos deberán cuidar las llantas, ya que el desgaste en el flanco derecho es mayor, ya que en la la vuelta allí es donde la moto tiene un apoyo más recurrente. Otra cualidad de este trazado son las largas rectas donde las Ducati tienen una ventaja con respecto a sus rivales, donde incluso Yamaha tiene hasta 10 km/h menos en las rectas. De las curvas 10 a la 13 hay una serie de rectas que son propicias para los adelantamientos, al igual que la recta principal. Pero aun así hay otros sitios más para poder pasar, los pilotos siempre analizan esto en las prácticas y en las carreras, van observando donde sus rivales son rápidos y donde son más lentos para atacarlo en este punto.
El piloto con mayor victoria en San Marino en el campeonato es Marc Márquez, con 6 victorias entre MotoGP, Moto2 y Moto3, donde en la categoría reina tiene 3, empatado con Jorge Lorenzo y Valentino Rossi. El Ganador de las últimas dos ediciones en 2021 y 2022 fue Pecco Bagnaia, así que el italiano es el claro favorito para este fin de semana, pero veremos si la caída en Cataluña no lo ha afectado físicamente, que haga que este deba cuidarse más. En cuanto a equipos, Honda es que ha ganado la mayor cantidad de veces con 19, seguido con Yamaha con 14. La carrera de San Marino será a 27 vueltas, mientras que la carrera corta debe ser a trece giro, ya que normalmente en la carrera sprint se da la mitad de las vueltas que el evento principal.

La semana pasada se disputó lo que fue la primera carrera de tres de la ronda de 16 de los playoffs de la serie de la copa NASCAR en Darlington, con triunfo para Kyle Larson, con la cual aseguró su pase para la ronda de 12. Ahora bien, esta semana la lucha continúa esta semana en Kansas, por seguir avanzando hasta llegar a la ronda final por el campeonato. Kansas Speedway es óvalo intermedio ya que su longitud es de 1.5 millas. El mismo posee un total de 4 curvas, con un peralte progresivo de entre 17 y 20 grados de inclinación, mientras que el tri-óvalo donde se encuentra la recta principal (línea de meta) tiene un peralte progresivo de 9 a 11 grados. Por otro lado tenemos la recta posterior que su inclinación es de tan solo 5°. Para este fin de semana y como es habitual (excepto en los súper Speedwway que no hay práctica) tendremos la única práctica libre de 45 minutos donde los pilotos y equipos deben trabajar en la puesta a punto de su coche, además de estudiar el desgaste de las llantas, aunque esta no es tanta ya que la pista fue re pavimentada algunos años atrás, por lo cual degradación no es tan alto, incluso en las curvas se toman casi que a fondo, todo depende de cuan nueva o no sean las llantas. Esta práctica será el sábado 09 de Septiembre, mientras que al terminar esta, rápidamente inicia la clasificación, con las dos rondas habituales, en cada una de ellas participan la mitad de los inscritos y los 5 mejores tiempos de cada grupo avanzan a la ronda final. La carrera es el domingo 10 de Septiembre a las 3:00pm ET de los Estados Unidos, con un total de 267 vueltas, para las 400 millas del evento. Pero estas vueltas totales están divididas en tres segmentos (80-85-102), lo cual otorgan puntos extras que son vitales para seguir con la lucha del campeonato.
