English
It is important to warm up before starting the walk, so we can do stretching exercises that allow us to prepare the body for physical activity, with a time of 10 to 15 minutes, and once finished we can also do the stretching for the recovery of the muscles after finishing the walk.
The training started at 5:50 am in the morning, together with my son and I, who was very excited to walk this route, since there are some plum trees along the way, which he likes a lot, this route It is totally flat, it does not present any type of ascent and it is close to the town where I live.
It should be noted that the pace that we developed on the route was moderate, that is, neither very fast nor slow, which allowed me to talk a little with my son during training, he likes climbing the mountain more than flat routes, because from there you can see the entire town of Villa de Cura, on the top of the hill where the cross is located. According to the training that is implemented to an athlete, one can visualize what is the performance that they have in different routes and know where they obtain better performance, in the case of my son it is better in the mountain route.
On the other hand, in my case, I have always liked mountain training and competitions more, because I feel that I perform much better than on a hike where the route is totally flat, I say this because in some competitions in which I have competed with others flat walkers these have beaten me but when I compete in the mountains, I beat them in this type of competition.
Now, if we want to improve the performance of a runner or walker in either of the two routes, a training plan must be implemented that allows improving speed, performing short repetitions of 50 to 100 flat meters, at least 5 to 10 times, it can also be increased to 200 meters, trying to execute them at the same time with a recovery of 1 to 2 minutes. All this increases progressively as we train and we will be able to see better results in the marks in each of the routes.
I had planned to get to the part where the cowgirl is, which is approximately 3km, but I did not get to this part because I began to feel a little discomfort in my knee, when I did a little jog, because of this, my son and I decided to get to the Los Mujica plot, as shown in the Strava application, which is about 3.2 km long.
In this training, we perform a total time of 1 hour and 13 minutes, registered in the Strava application, with a distance of 4.02 miles, making the conversion, that is, 4.02 miles times 1,609 kilometers, which is equivalent to 1 mile, we obtain as a result 6.4681, that is to say 6 kilometers with 468 meters, almost 6 and a half kilometers of training.
