Sin duda Uruguay mereció ganar por la contundencia de sus ataques y por la calidad de juego desplegado en el campo, pero en el fútbol no se gana por lo contundente que sea un equipo o por lo bonito que juegue, en el fútbol para bien o para mal se gana anotando goles y eso fue lo único que le faltó al conjunto uruguayo en esta oportunidad, mientras tanto el seleccionado colombiano se lleva un punto valioso de Montevideo, sin ser contundente, sin ser creativo, sin ideas y con una irregularidad enorme.
