Este circuito se corrió varias veces entre 1925 y 1970, año en que se corrió en esta configuración antigua por última vez, con victoria del mexicano Pedro Rodríguez. Como ya he mencionado, en estos tiempos no existían suficientes regulaciones de seguridad. En total, han fallecido 48 pilotos y 4 comisarios en este circuito, sumando todas las categorías de automovilismo que han corrido en Spa. La mayoría de estas fatalidades sucedieron de los años 70' para atrás, en el circuito antiguo. Pero la más reciente, es la Anthoine Hubert en 2019, en la Fórmula 2.
