¡Hola aficionados al deporte! Reciban un cordial saludo. Hoy empieza la jornada cinco de la Premier League con un duelo entre dos equipos que buscan escapar de la zona baja de la tabla de posiciones. Aunque la mayoría de los partidos serán el sábado, parece que el domingo nos deparará lo más interesante, porque de los nueve primeros equipos de la tabla, seis se enfrentarán entre sí. ¡Analicémoslos!
Hello sports fans! Greetings to all of you. Today begins day five of the Premier League with a duel between two teams looking to escape from the bottom of the standings. Although most of the matches will be played on Saturday, it seems that Sunday will be the most interesting, because of the top nine teams in the table, six will face each other. Let's analyze them!

¡Qué duro golpe recibieron los Spurs el pasado fin de semana! Dier se lesiona, luego expulsan a un central, y caen goleados a manos del Crystal Palace. Luego de ésa jornada completa pasaron del primer lugar en solitario a la séptima posición. Quizás alguien diga: "Bueno, bueno, apenas fue su primer revés de la temporada, no es para tanto". Y tiene algo de razón. Sin embargo, sabemos lo competitiva que resulta esta liga. Así que si de verdad quieren a estar en el top 6 de Inglaterra y regresar a las competiciones europeas deben mantener un buen nivel. ¿Podrá Nuno Espirito Santo convencer a sus muchachos de que pueden hacer la tarea de éste fin de semana?
Su rival es el Chelsea, quien goleó 3 - 0 en su último encuentro de liga, y ganó su partido de Champions League, sin brillar, pero ganó. Las estadísticas están a favor de los Blues, ya que han ganado los últimos derbys de Londres. Y si estos muchachos entran al campo en una de esas noches en las que todo sale bien, es difícil que dejen escapar puntos en su visita a sus rivales de ciudad. Aún así, la afición hace lo suyo. Esos fervientes ingleses que acuden al estadio pondrán presión sobre el visitante. Y hasta cierto punto también algunos jugadores han ido a estos duelos con la mecha corta, queriendo a veces hacer con los puños lo que no han logrado hacer con los pies. Sin duda, ¡este es el partido a ver éste fin de semana!
What a blow Spurs were dealt last weekend! Dier gets injured, then a center-back gets sent off, and they lose to Crystal Palace. After that full matchday they dropped from sole first place to seventh. Maybe someone will say: "Well, well, it was only their first setback of the season, it's not that big a deal". Con relación a su oponente han anotado más goles, y han recibido menos goles, dejándolos con un diferencial de goles de +2. Maupay ha anotado en los primeros encuentros. Trossard, Duffy y Mac Allister también han hecho su aporte al marcador una vez. Sólo en el cotejo contra el Everton no pudieron anotar como equipo. Así que éste Brighton querrá seguir disparando al arco el domingo y probar que tan atinado estará Schmeichel.
El interesante Leicester marcha noveno. Hay una estadística interesante. Hasta ahora son el equipo con menos disparos. Y el número 17 en tiros al arco. Parece que no le está llegando el balón de cara al arco, aunque sea para que la tiren a los afortunados aficionados que lograron entrar al estadio en ésta pandemia. Los lobos tienen un promedio de solo un gol por partido. Sabemos que Vardy puede ayudar enormemente a mejorar ésa estadística, pero parece que el juego no está llegando al último cuarto de cancha para lograr probar al arco. Pero tendrán que superar al Brighton que, por cierto, es el tercer equipo que más tackles ha realizado. Esperamos que el mediocampo no esté tan trabado, que fluya el juego y podamos ver un interesante partido entre dos equipos de la primera mitad de tabla.

Y mucho ha tenido que ver Michail Antonio, líder de goles anotados junto a Bruno Fernandes. Lamentablemente, Antonio será la gran baja de éste equipo, y no podrá encontrarse en el terreno de juego con Bruno, ya que en el último cotejo con el Southampton Michail tuvo una tarjeta roja. ¿Podrán Yarmolenko o Lanzini aprovechar ésta ausencia para brillar? Sería una gran responsabilidad. Y teniendo en cuenta de que el equipo no anotó en su último partido...
Mientras tanto, el Manchester United llega con la clara intención de no abandonar la punta del campeonato. Con solo tres goles permitidos y once anotados, llegan con el mejor diferencial de goles de la liga, solo igualados por sus enemigos de Manchester. Paul Pogba está repartiendo balones alegremente a sus compañeros quienes lo finalizan en gol. El francés lidera claramente la tabla con siete asistencias. Él y Bruno de seguro querrán que las estadísticas pesen en la mente de los contrarios para estresarlos en la pizarra de estrategias. No sabemos como estará la defensa ésta vez. Se necesita la mejor versión de De Gea. Y que Wan-Bissaka no vuelva a pintarse de rojo como lo hizo entre semana. Martillos versus diablos. Veremos quién es el malo.
