While being environmentally friendly and stuff is all the rage, I do look at things with a pragmatic lens. The world is full of inefficiencies and very wasteful behavior, not to mention a greed for natural resources than can destroy even protected areas. In this context to come out and say that bitcoin is bad for he environment is like saying banks shouldn't use computers and servers because they are power hungry. As much as I hate the banksters they do have a role to play for now and they can't fulfill that role with pen and paper. Same with bitcoin, not my favorite coin but it does have a role to play either we like it or not.
That being said I do like to flex with how sleek and green Hive is like a true crypto chad whenever I get the chance :P
