Here is my entry to the Hive PH Contest: 5 Best Things About the Philippines by the Hive PH Community
The Philippines is very beautiful and there are a lot of wonderful places you can travel to. Here are the top 5 places that I've been to (so far) in our country.
I. Puerto Princessa, Palawan
Palawan is a world-renowned tourist destination. Puerto Princessa is one of the 3 well-known provinces of Palawan (Coron and El Nido are the other 2) and it is located right in the middle of the island.
Puerto Princessa is famous for its white-sand beaches and turquoise blue waters.
II. Puerto Galera
Another "Puerto", Puerto Galera is located in Oriental Mindoro, the home province of my wife. Puerto Galera has beaches that are comparable to those of Palawan and Boracay!
Puerto Galera has well-preserved beaches and the hotels here are budget-friendly.
They are also one of the producers of the most gorgeous women in the Philippines :)!!
III. Boracay
So far, the best beach destination in the Philippines! Due to the efforts of the current Government, Boracay was restored to its former beauty!
If you're planning to go to Boracay, look for her! She'll make your trip here hassle-free :)
IV. Ilocos Region
The land of the Ilocanos, the Ilocos region offers quaint feeling that is almost lost in most parts of the country.
-- Nuestra Senora de La Asuncion Church in Sta. Maria, Ilocos Sur
It's also called the land of the saints due to numerous municipalities named after saints.
-- Bell Tower, Bantay, Ilocos Sur
V. Baguio City
Last but not the least, my home city of Baguio!
