PRAISING HIS NAME IS MEDICINE: One of the churches that we’ve visited here in Odlot, Bogo City Cebu, with Family.
"And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray to stand in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward."

Inspiration:

It is the most lucrative manner in which we strengthen our faith and our relationship with each other. Through prayer, God reveals His wisdom and guides us to see opportunities to grow. He gives us direction to live our lives according to His will. We must make our prayer life a priority each day!” – words taken from my Bible app-
Intro:
Each one of us has the capability and ability to pray in our own way. We do have different techniques on how to tell Him the struggles that we’ve encountered in life. To pray is life and we must do this every day to feed our soul and also be reminded that He is always there for us and consider Him as our refuge. We must also pray not to be surrounded by snare because we as humans, are easily fooled by somebody and we need His guidance and protection forever and ever.
The little Simala
One of the churches that we’ve visited here in Odlot, Bogo City Cebu, was the little Simala as they say. Considered little Simala it might be because of its design or the other structures that are the same as Simala in the Lindogon, Cebu. The church that we visited was the Church of Virgen de Los Remedios here in Odlot, Bogo City, Cebu Philippines.
The Frontside of the Church
It has an extensive space in front, and you may witness how clean the surroundings they have. Besides it, you can park your car, or motorcycle not so close to the main entrance.
Jesus Christ in a Coffin
Lying on the transparent coffin was the image of our dearest Almighty God, Jesus Christ.
The Divine Mercy
My family got a picture on it. This is the first floor before you can reach the last part where the giant image of Sto. Niño displayed.

What made me astonished was the giant image of Sto. Niño displayed on the fourth floor. Before we went upstairs I observed first how far it is way to the fourth floor since I do have a fear of heights. From the picture, not so obvious that I have a panic attack. We enjoyed taking pictures even if my legs started shaking uncontrollably.
My favorite spot
We intentionally took a photo that was behind the tall structure of the church with a cross image on top, It seemed like we were abroad having vacation. From it, you can see also the vibrant body of water, since this church was built near the sea.
Candle Lighting
Different colors of the candles stand for different meanings. There is a must of prayer for a candle you choose whatever color it is. Here, we “Pray and say Thanks” to the Lord for the blessings that have been given to us. One important thing that we must have in our prayer, is to ask the Almighty God the wisdom and knowledge for everyday living.
Beside the Church
We took a photo with one of the saints here beside the church. The tranquil place made me relaxed and could not stop myself from having a photo for a memento. They had their wonderful place with tall trees while birds were chirping.
Insights:
Since it is part already of my life to visit a church if given the time to visit, the moment I prayed, something like I fed my soul and one forgave my sin, and someone touched my heart and did cleansing. We should surrender all to Him, He is our refuge wherever we go. He gives guidance and protection and he never fails to give us His promises. Yes, we do have different Gods to praise, and we do have different religions to stand to, but still, we do have one Holy God to whom we pray, He opened us up and laid us bare before His eyes.
Prayer:
Dear God, we will make our prayer life a priority so that we may grow closer to You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
