Hooooooooooooooooooola amigos, espero estén bien :D hoy les hablaré de un juego tan maravilloso y a su vez tan oscuro que ha dejado intrigado a más de uno por su asombrosa historia. Nada más y nada menos que *Zelda: Majora's Mask* estrenado en el año 2000. Sin más preámbulo, ¡comencemos! --- En comparación a su predecesor *Ocarina of Time*, este nuevo mundo es de más corta duración que el anterior y que de casi toda la saga de Zelda por carecer de templos y jefes a los cuales enfrentar, aunque eso no signifique que aventurarse sea aburrido. De hecho, *Majora's Mask* es considerado una de las mejores entregas de la saga recibiendo una puntuación de 95/100 en Metacritic en su primera versión y 82/100 en su versión 3D, incluso una gran cantidad de fans opinan que es mejor que su antecesor *Ocarina of Time*. La sexta entrega de la saga ha vendido alrededor de 4 millones de copias a nivel mundial y se opina que la trama es una de las más tristes y oscuras de la saga. --- # TRAMA La historia comienza con pequeño Link cabalgando a su fiel Epona por los bosques en búsqueda de Navi, el hada que lo acompañó durante los hechos ocurridos en *Ocarina of Time* y que se marchó al salvar Hyrule. De repente, un Deku que se hace llamar Skull Kid en conjunto con dos hadas, Taya y Tael, lo atacan para robarlo. Skull Kid roba la Ocarina del Tiempo y se marchan con Epona. Link los persigue y cae en un agujero negro donde entabla una conversación con Skull Kid, el cual termina transformándolo en un Deku y huye del sitio. Taya no logra alcanzarlos y acuerda ayudar al pequeño héroe para que esta vuelva a estar con su amigo y su hermano. Después de haber atravesado una cueva, Link llega a la Torre del Reloj de Términa, donde se encuentra con un escalofriante Vendedor de Máscaras Felices, que confiesa haber estado siguiendo a Link y que puede devolverle a la normalidad a cambio de recuperar la Máscara de Majora que le robó Skull Kid. El escalofriante vendedor aclara que se irá del pueblo en tres días (72 horas en el juego y 54 minutos en tiempo real) por lo que debe hacer todo en el tiempo estipulado. Al salir de la torre, se observa que Términa es en realidad una tierra paralela a Hyrule, y que sus habitantes son los mismos que los de Hyrule, solo que con diferentes estilos de vida y personalidades. Varios habitantes le advierten al héroe que la luna colisionará sobre Términa al cabo de tres días, es entonces cuando Link se dirige al observatorio y este le muestra la ubicación de Skull Kid en lo más alto de la Torre del Reloj. A las doce de la noche del tercer día, Link consigue llegar hasta Skull Kid, logrando arrebatarle la Ocarina del Tiempo. En ese instante y a punto de que el tiempo se acabase, Link toca la *Canción del Tiempo* y regresa al amanecer del primer día. Cabe destacar que el jugador conserva los principales logros, mapas, máscaras, música y armas permanentemente. Link vuelve con el vendedor de máscaras y este devuelve al héroe a su forma humana, sellando la forma Deku en una máscara. Link confiesa que no pudo recuperar la máscara y el vendedor se enfurece, advirtiéndole al héroe que la máscara que posee Skull Kid es poseedora de un temible poder maligno que es causante de las desgracias de los habitantes y que hará que la luna caiga sobre Términa. Es entonces cuando Link viaja a los cuatro puntos cardinales de Términa para despertar a los Cuatro Gigantes que tienen el poder suficiente como para sujetar a la luna. --- Como primer reto, Link deberá ir al Sur, donde se halla el Bosque Catarata y el Palacio Deku. Allí deberá enfrentarse al Monstruo Mecánico Enmascarado: Goht.

Allí, Link deberá adentrarse dentro del Templo de la Gran Bahía, no sin antes encontrar los 7 huevos de Lulú, una Zora, y haber aprendido la Nueva Bossanova, canción que deberá tocar frente a Lulú para que una tortuga gigante lleve a Link a la entrada del templo. En la mazmorra deberá enfrentarse al Pez Gargantúa Enmascarado: Gyorg.

Es por ello que Link deberá aprender la Elegía al Vacío y adentrarse en el Templo de Piedra, uno de los más icónicos de la saga. Allí, deberá derrotar al Gigante Insecto Enmascarado: Twinmold.

Sin embargo, nuestro héroe tiene un último objetivo y es derrotar a Skull Kid. --- Al llegar a la Torre del Reloj, los gigantes detienen el descenso de la luna y Majora's Mask revela que manipuló a Skull Kid para cometer dichas fechorías, volando hacia la luna para poseerla. Es entonces cuando Link sigue a la máscara hacia el interior de la luna, y en lo que parece ser un valle primaveral, se enfrenta a las tres fases bestiales de la Máscara de Majora.

Además, la luna vuelve a su lugar en el cielo, los gigantes vuelven a dormir, el vendedor de máscaras toma la Máscara de Majora ahora purificada y Link se marcha de Términa cabalgando a Epona. --- # ORDEN CRONOLÓGICO La línea temporal de esta entrega se centra en el hecho de cuando Link derrota a Ganondorf y nuestro protagonista vuelve a ser un niño. *Majora's Mask* se convirtió en la continuación directa de *Ocarina of Time* cuando Ganondorf es destruido y el héroe se embarca en una nueva aventura por Términa, enfrentándose a nuevos enemigos hasta la era del Crepúsculo en *Twilight Princess* y culminando con *Four Swords Adventures*.

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeello friends, I hope you are well :D today I will tell you about a game so wonderful and at the same time so obscure that has left intrigued more than one for its amazing story. Nothing more and nothing less than *Zelda: Majora's Mask* released in the year 2000. Without further ado, let's get started! --- Compared to its predecessor *Ocarina of Time*, this new world is shorter in length than its predecessor and almost the entire Zelda saga for lacking temples and bosses to face, although that doesn't mean that adventuring is boring. In fact, *Majora's Mask* is considered one of the best installments of the saga receiving a score of 95/100 on Metacritic in its first version and 82/100 in its 3D version, even a lot of fans think it is better than its predecessor *Ocarina of Time*. The sixth installment of the saga has sold around 4 million copies worldwide and the plot is said to be one of the saddest and darkest of the saga. --- PLOT . The story begins with little Link riding his faithful Epona through the woods in search of Navi, the fairy who accompanied him during the events that occurred in *Ocarina of Time* and left when saving Hyrule. Suddenly, a Deku who calls himself Skull Kid in conjunction with two fairies, Taya and Tael, attack him to steal it. Skull Kid steals the Ocarina of Time and leaves with Epona. Link chases them and falls into a black hole where he engages in a conversation with Skull Kid, who ends up transforming him into a Deku and flees the site. Taya fails to catch up with them and agrees to help the little hero so that he can be with his friend and brother again. After going through a cave, Link arrives at the Termina Clock Tower, where he meets a creepy Happy Mask Salesman, who confesses that he has been following Link and that he can return him to normal in exchange for recovering the Majora's Mask that Skull Kid stole from him. The creepy salesman makes it clear that he will be leaving town in three days (72 hours in the game and 54 minutes in real time) so he must do everything in the stipulated time. In the dungeon he will have to face the Masked Gargantuan Fish: Gyorg.

It is then that Link follows the mask into the moon's interior, and in what appears to be a spring valley, he is confronted by the three beastly phases of Majora's Mask.
