Final Examination DONE✅

So, I just finished my final exams for the last semester of my third year in college. It's been quite a ride, and I can't believe I'm almost done and will be graduating in a year. The third year has definitely been the most challenging, but I'm managing.

During the exam days, we had a lot of tough lessons, but we pulled through. Next up, we have to tackle a research paper and get it defended.

Research Study!

I really want to share with you all our journey from starting our thesis/research paper to defending it. This is a big requirement to move on to the fourth year of college. We had to choose a group for our research, and luckily, our teacher let us pick our own groups. It's important to be comfortable with your group members so that everyone is motivated to work together and understand each other, especially when working on a research paper.

We also had to come up with a title for our research paper, and it was necessary to get guidance from our research teacher throughout the semester. We decided on the title "A Correlational Study Between Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) and Self-efficacy of Bachelor of Elementary Education Students."

Now more than ever, society has become dependent upon digital technologies to stay connected to the world. It is important that students will tap into digital world to be aware and know how to use technology in the teaching and learning process.

Our research aims to find out if there's a significant difference between Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) and the self-efficacy of Bachelor of Elementary Education Students at Bacolod City College. Be able to know the level of each variable and relationship between the two variables.

Even though we were all feeling pretty tired, we knew we had to tackle the research paper. With the final defense coming up, we made the decision to gather as a group and work on the paper together. We even decided to have an overnight sleepover at a teammate's house to make things easier.

On the day, we also met up with our statistician in the morning to go over the survey results. It required some statistical tools, but together we managed to figure it all out. It wasn't easy, but we did it.

After we meet with our statistician, it's time to travel again to the house of one of our members to finalize all our research papers. When we arrived at their house, we rested for a while and started our work because we were wasting time.

Encode everything as well as we created a Power point presentation for our defense. We had a hard time finding a Review Related of Literature but luckily we have it. Can it still be done? Yes of course 😂 Cramming is on the go😂

We are also thankful because our friend's mom prepared dinner for us. Pochero, lechon manok, mango and pineapple juice are so delicious. They are my favorite.🥺

Our Research Adviser as well as a Grammarian🤍

As we make progress with our research paper, we have scheduled a meeting with our research adviser and grammarian at his daughter's boarding house in the morning. During the meeting, we will review our work, receive instructions, and seek guidance on how to effectively defend our research study.

We are grateful that our research adviser also serves as our grammarian, providing comprehensive support throughout the entire process. He is a teacher at Bacolod City College, we are truly privileged to benefit from his mentorship. He is undeniably one of the finest educators we had.

Final Defense Day!

We've all been eagerly waiting this moment. It's our chance to showcase and defend our research study in front of our respected panelists. We worked collaboratively to address their questions. Thankfully, with the grace of God, we successfully defended our research study with just a few minor revisions.

After overcoming numerous challenges, along with our hard work and perseverance, we have accomplished our goal!

As the day comes to a close, we would like to express our gratitude to everyone who supported us in achieving this milestone. We are truly thankful to each and every one of you. Wishing blessings upon you all!
