Everyone is blessed in different aspects but some people didn't recognized the blessings they received.
We are unique and in this fallen world, we are not perfect. Some were blessed with knowledge and wisdom, others were blessed with talents, others were blessed with healthy body. Not everything is in you as well as with others.
As a human being, we cannot deny the fact that there were times that we felt jealous towards what others have that we don't have. I don't know if you felt the same but I admit I feel like that sometimes.
The most common and trending expression of Filipinos right now is sana all which means I hope all, wishing that we also have or experience what someone has.
I also hear Buti pa sya/sila which means she or they are fortunate.
Saying those lines might mean just saying an expression but most of the time it really means what is it. A part of us is jealous and hoping to have it or experience it, wishing to be in their shoes.
For today's blog, I want to answer one of the @hiveph question from the May Blogging Contest that said:
If you could switch lives with anyone from Hive, who would it be and why?
Thinking about it, I thought about Ms. @jane1289 . Most of the time I say sana all or I hope all to her, a common expression yet in another way it is like saying how I wish to be like her, how I wish to be there, how I wish to have it, how I wish to be in her shoes.
I don't know her in person, I just know her here in Hive but it seems I know her for a long time. She's like a friend or a sister for me.
There were lots of things I saw and knew about her that made me think, What if, she is me?
A traveler
When I was a child, I always dream to travel the world or atleast to travel in beautiful places. I always love nature because with mother nature I felt so relax and stress free. I always grab the opportunity to visit other places as long as I can.
I always saw and read her blogs about traveling to different beautiful places, from garden, parks, beaches and even mountains.
How I wish to experience and enjoy a moment like that.
A foodie lover
We all do love foods but let's eat food to live not we live to eat food.
I am used to simple food like a fruit fresh from the tree, fresh from the garden, or a harvest from what my parents planted. I am used to eat root crops like sweet potatoes, taro and cassava as well as bananas. They are usually our dinner back then.
I remember how happy we are back then when our neighbor will give us some macaroni salad and spaghetti to us during Christmas and new year. We don't have it in our house, we only have some if neighbor will be kind enough to share their blessings.
I remember the first time I tried to cook spaghetti, I was already working that time and really tried to buy ingredients for spaghetti and macaroni salad hoping to learn how to cook and prepare it and at last we have it in our home for the first time. My first spaghetti is salty, lol. I put a lot of salt in the water, lol.
Eating or trying different foods as long as it is clean and God allows us to eat it, I really wanted to taste it too.
Seeing Jane in different restaurants and food chains also makes me think what if, she is me? that I can try different foods too.
Sexy, strong independent woman
I gain a lot of weight after giving birth or should I say after the caesarian operation. I'm chubby and had a lot of belly fats. I am worried about it too and hopefully I can loose some weight.
Jane is sexy while me is fat, she have a long straight hair while mine is curly. Something that we cannot understand is that those who have straight hair wished to have a curly hair while those who have curly hair wished to have a straight hair, lol. I am not exempted with that thinking too because some time I also wished to have a long straight hair.
I also like how she travel alone, I hope I am like that. I am a person who is not that independent when it comes to a long travel. I always want to have someone with me. What if, she is me? and I can go to other places alone.
Those are the things I admire about @jane1289 and some time wish to be her. Hello sis, continue to enjoy life while reaching your dreams and goals in life.
Anyway, to those men who is still single and available, our friend is still single☺️. Just letting you know hehehe peace ✌️sis.
