Linggo ng Kabataan: Games, Smiles, and a Breathtaking View

Annyeonghaseyo, my dear Hivers. It's been a while. It's me once again, @jenajean. I'm now coming back with another blog. Did you miss me, my blog?

Last August 24, there was a celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan (if I'm not mistaken) that was held in Kapilya of Purok Mangga. The call time was 12:30 p.m. because there was a holy mass. However, we went there around 1 p.m. (Pinoy time). I took a picture of this big tree as it captured my eyes; it caught my attention. It's so pretty.

When we arrived, the holy mass had already started, and we're too shy to go there to attend the mass. So we were just waiting for them to be done while we were at a quite distance. It almost took 20 minutes to be done. When the mass was done, we went there. The three of us—me, Sarah, and Rene. Then our Sk chairman told us to form a circle for the counting. Then we grouped into 2. It's for the games. The game was on the spot. They already had a plan for all, but sadly, the covered court at that time was unavailable. That's why they need to change the location and the plan for the game. The Sk officials were the ones organizing the event.

The first game was "guess the name," wherein your co-members will describe the person behind you, and you'll be the one to guess the name. It was a little bit fun. There's even a few kids that joined. They're so happy. And I was enjoying it too.

The second game was Japanese. I don't know the real name of this game, but in our hometown we called it "Japanese." In this game, there's a home wherein you need to protect it from your enemies (the other team). There's a lot of members since it's only two groups. You need to run and catch the other team. It was a bit tiring yet fun if you were really into this game. I'm just watching them having fun since I won't dare to run to catch the other team. I just took some photos of them.

Look at them; they're so happy.

And the last game was Tumbang Lata. In this game, you need to knock out the tin can with the use of a sleeper. It's a little bit hard since you need to be good at it, and you must have the good calculation of throwing your sleeper into the tin can.

Then, after the games, there's a snack that has been provided. We formed a line and got ours. Even though I didn't really participate in the game, seeing the kids and others having so much fun then makes me happy too.

Afterwards, we went to the sister of our SK chairman because my companion Rene wanted to cash in his GCash. And I was amazed by the view outside of their home. The view was so beautiful; it's so satisfying. I love it.
