A Quick Stroll at Balamban Plaza

Balamban is a municipality from the northwest of Cebu noted for the Buwakan ni Alejandra Mt.Manungal, and one the biggest ship factories in the Philippines the Tsunishe Balamban. It's a first-class municipality according to the latest census and soon to be a city. This municipality is already familiar to me since my husband worked in Balamban. I kept on visiting him every weekend and even accompanied him sometimes to his client. There were many instances where training, seminars, and even Provincial Sports Fest were held in this municipality because they have a very supportive mayor, especially in the field of education. Aside from that they can supply whatever is needed by their guests.

Last November 22 another meeting or orientation was held in Balamban. I already mentioned about this orientation in my previous blog. That was about the orientation of SHS Work Immersion and TLE Updates. After the orientation, before heading home we went to the plaza to refresh and relax for a while. The plaza is also near the oval, sidewalk, terminal, and baywalk. It's a perfect place for relaxation since no traffic on this corner. Many food stalls were built near Bay Walk in front of the town plaza. So during night time, many people loved to stroll around the plaza and bay walk. It is also a town's guest favorite destination, especially during nighttime. I already had an experience visiting the place when the module writing session was held in this municipality that was two years ago and much more in their town plaza.

It's well-landscaped and planted with flowering and ornamental plants. Its playground is planted with carabao grass and Bermuda thus making it clean and safe for everyone who wants to take a walk around the plaza. The colorful benches look more attractive for visitors to settle down for a while and relax while enjoying the views around. The tall coconut trees were planted in every corner adding green and beautiful views of a plaza.
