My share for #beersaturday, as inspired by @detlev.
I'm going big for this week's #beersaturday. How big? Well, this double IPA from North Dakota's Drekker comes in at a solid 8.3% ABV. This one is another hazy (of course)...and has a hop bill of Citra, Mosiac, and Azzaca hops. I don't know if I have a beer with Azzaca hops, but this is a tasty beer. A very tasty beer indeed!
With the weather actually featuring winter-like conditions today, this is a good to sip on a warm-up with. I believe the plan is to watch some basketball tonight...hopefully, I can make the four cans hold out for the evening. Plus, I see a little gremlin left a single can on our back steps today (that would be my brother's gift).
I was worried that I was going to have to shovel yet tonight, and that in turn would interfere with my beer drinking...but alas, winter apparently is only around for a few more hours as rain is expected later tonight. This view here :
Will likely be green come tomorrow at this same time. Whacky weather indeed!
So there it is...another winner from Drekker. I believe my brother and I are planning a trip to Dakota this summer, so that will be exciting. Hopefully more photos to share when that happens - there is even a hotel attached to the brewery, if I'm not mistaken
