#BEERSATURDAY with kinetic art / con arte cinético

En este #BeerSaturday les traigo una edición especial de cervecería Polar, rindiendo homenaje al arte cinético con el cual muchos venezolanos se sienten identificados y con el que hemos convivido sin querer queriendo. Así que hoy tendremos el arte que son las cervezas sumado al arte cinético venezolano.
Comenzamos la aventura hablando un poco sobre cervecería Polar y sus más de 81 años en venezuela, es la cervecería industrial más grande de Venezuela y tiene presencia en cada rincón del país. Tiene presentaciones tanto en botella como en lata del estilo Pilsen. Este año han sacado una edición especial en lata en formato sleek, con diseños basados en el arte cinético, cómplice de muchas aventuras citadinas.
Venezuela tuvo a dos Grandes artistas del arte cinético como lo fueron Jesús Soto y Carlos Cruz-Diez. Maestros reconocidos mundialmente que dejaron obras estupendas dentro y fuera de nuestro país. Cervecería Polar rinde tributo a estos maestros con esta edición especial

In this #BeerSaturday I bring you a special edition of Polar brewery, paying tribute to the kinetic art with which many Venezuelans feel identified and with which we have coexisted unwittingly. So today we will have the art that is the beers added to the Venezuelan kinetic art.
We begin the adventure talking a little about Polar Brewery and its more than 81 years in Venezuela, it is the largest industrial brewery in Venezuela and has presence in every corner of the country. It has both bottled and canned presentations of the Pilsen style. This year they have launched a special edition can in sleek format, with designs based on kinetic art, an accomplice of many city adventures.
Venezuela had two great artists of kinetic art, Jesús Soto and Carlos Cruz-Diez. World-renowned masters who left stupendous works inside and outside our country. Cervecería Polar pays tribute to these masters with this special edition.

En la ciudad de Caracas, tenemos espacios y estaciones de Metro decoradas con grandes obras de arte cinético, entonces, mi lata de polar y yo, tomamos el Metro de Caracas y nos fuimos de paseo.

In the city of Caracas, we have spaces and Metro stations decorated with great works of kinetic art, so my polar can and I took the Caracas Metro and went for a ride.
La aventura esta vez nos lleva hasta la plaza Venezuela de Caracas, lugar céntrico de la ciudad y que se encuentra adornada por varias obras artísticas. Una de ellas es la Fisicromía Cóncavo-Convexa de Carlos Cruz Diez. Una obra inaugurada en el año 1982, con la función de cubrir de manera hermosa los ductos de ventilación de la estacion del Metro de Caracas en esa plaza, se caracteriza por presentar una formacion cóncava por dos paredes semicirculares en las cuales, el artista dispuso series de colores a partir de varillas de aluminio, negro, blanco y tricromo que dan esa sensación de movimiento al apreciarlas.
The adventure this time takes us to Plaza Venezuela in Caracas, a central place in the city that is adorned by several artistic works. One of them is the Concave-Convex Physichromy by Carlos Cruz Diez. A work inaugurated in 1982, with the function of beautifully covering the ventilation ducts of the Caracas Metro station in that square, is characterized by presenting a concave formation by two semicircular walls in which the artist arranged series of colors from aluminum rods, black, white and trichrome that give that feeling of movement to appreciate them.

Asi que elegí este lugar para hacerle unas fotografías al diseño de esta edición especial, teniendo un excelente fondo y dónde la gente me veía algo raro mientras sacaba las mismas, lo sé, es mejor beber una cerveza que sacarle fotos en una plaza, y mas cuando hacen unos no tan hermosos 30 grados y la sed nos grita que destapamos de una vez la cerveza!
Pero paciencia, que las cosas suceden por y para algo, y es así como me encuentro por casualidad en esa plaza con grandes amigos de la infancia, que después de tomarme una foto infraganti (vean el detrás de cámara, al final) deciden acompañarme y esta vez, si ir a calmar la sed con unas buenas cervezas mientras nos ponemos al día acerca de nuestras vidas como adultos.
So I chose this place to take some pictures of the design of this special edition, having an excellent background and where people looked at me a little weird while I was taking them, I know, it's better to drink a beer than taking pictures in a square, and more when it's a not so beautiful 30 degrees and thirst screams us to uncork the beer at once!
But patience, things happen for a reason, and that's how I find myself by chance in that square with great childhood friends, who after taking a photo of me in the act (see the behind the camera, at the end) decide to join me and this time, if we go to quench our thirst with a good beer while we catch up about our lives as adults.
Esta edición especial, homenaje al arte cinético, se encuentra en dos versiones tipo lata, las cuales estan adornadas con lineas y colores que dan esa impresión de movimiento.
Realmente se ven muy bien en este modelo de lata y le da un toque fresco a la imagen de la cerveza que se agradece, con estos detalles artísticos que nos acompaña a los venezolanos y representa a nivel mundial gracias a grandes maestros como Jesús Soto y Carlos Cruz-Diez.
This special edition, homage to kinetic art, comes in two tin versions, both of which are adorned with lines and colors that give the impression of movement.
It really looks great on this can model and gives a fresh touch to the image of the beer that is appreciated, with these artistic details that accompanies us Venezuelans and represents us worldwide thanks to great masters such as Jesús Soto and Carlos Cruz-Diez.

Es la cerveza más consumida en Venezuela y es la clásica “Polarcita” cerveza tipo Pilsen súper refrescante.

It is the most consumed beer in Venezuela and it is the classic "Polarcita" super refreshing Pilsen beer.
Seguramente ya han leído más posts sobre ella de otros venezolanos ya que es la líder indiscutible en cuanto a cervezas industriales se trata en el país.
Es una lager con todas las de la ley con un bajo amargor con apariencia clara y cristalina.
Surely you have already read more posts about it from other Venezuelans since it is the undisputed leader in terms of industrial beers in the country.
It is a full-fledged lager with a low bitterness and a crystal clear appearance.
Su color es dorado pálido con una fina espuma blanca que te acompaña hasta el final.
Su sensación en boca es de cuerpo ligero y refrescante con una carbonatacion media-alta que provee una gran bebibilidad, un poco dulce con ligeras notas a malta y a maíz.
Su amargor es muy bajo.
Esta es una cerveza que sabe a buenos recuerdos. Salud ! Donde quiera que estés!

It has a pale golden color with a fine white foam that accompanies you to the end.
