Alchemik. A decent sour beer in a lazy afternoon!

Sour, sour, sour! I love sour beers. They carry so much soul. They are so different and go absolutely well in combination with various fruits. If you want to explore a different world in beers, sour beers are the way.

The Alchemik brewery is a Bulgarian based gypsy brewery, and I am not aware of where they are brewing their beers, but after all, who cares? 😁 if we have a well balanced and enjoyable beer, the place where it’s brewed is not important at all.

The color is hazy orange and it looks very refreshing. There is carbonization, but as you can expect, it is dissolving quite shortly. It’s a sour beer after all! And the raspberries carry a lot of color into the body of the beer too! Raspberries are one of my favorite fruits to be used in sour beers.

In the mouth first thing to feel is the biting sourness, but it’s balanced in the very next moment with the lactose, used to brew this beer. The raspberries also give a very nice flavor. Very well pronounced but not overwhelming.

The ice cream character is actually in this can of beer. And I would definitely prefer this “ice cream” to an actual one. Would you not prefer the same? 😁

Overall, the beer was very well enjoyed and completed the afternoon in a very nice manner.

That’s for now, friends. See you soon again!
