Hallo liebe Community,
heute zum BeerSaturday noch ein Beitrag aus Monterey. Im schönsten Hotel unserer USA Reise habe ich mir natürlich auch ein amerikanisches Bier gegönnt. Die Drakes Brewing Company aus San Francisco braut dort ein Pilsner Bier, das Flyway Pils nach deutschem Vorbild.
Und ich muss sagen, gar nicht mal schlecht. Leicht fruchtige Noten aber doch sehr nah dran an unserem heimischen Pils. Mit 4,5 % Alkohol im normalen Bereich und eigekühlt wirklich erfrischend, was bei den Temperaturen auch dringend nötig war.
Wenn man dann einen solch schönen Blick über die Stadt hat und gemütlich auf seinem Balkon sitzen kann, was braucht man mehr für einen ruhigen Ausklang des Tages? Cheers!

today for BeerSaturday another contribution from Monterey. In the most beautiful hotel of our trip to the USA, I naturally also treated myself to an American beer. The Drakes Brewing Company from San Francisco brews there a Pilsner beer, the Flyway Pils after the German model.
And I must say, not bad at all. Slightly fruity notes but still very close to our domestic Pilsner. With 4.5% alcohol in the normal range and eigekühlt really refreshing, which was much needed with the temperatures.
