Beers and random weekend thoughts on HIVE and crypto

The bullmarket was starting to catch up to speed again and all of a sudden there was movement. People coming back to the blockchain after long absences and a new influx of people of people of who are just learning about crypto in general, and people who are running in trying to make a quick buck out of all of this.

We are an eco system in the end and there is no good and bad in the end on what everybody does. What we want as an ecosystem is to make it as attractive as possible to live there and not to leave again, and that we have a good time while being there (well, okay maybe that is not the deal of HIVE, but certainly that is my hippy idea of how I want to see it, agree or not if you like).

And hell why not to talk and think about it with a beer on the side.

'Gebrouwen door vrouwen, gember goud. Or better said, 'Brewed by women, ginger gold' was the winner of the week for me. A ginger hint in a pale ale which was very easy to introduce and I for sure get more of these over the summer

I am still not sure what the general consensus is on how HIVE is doing as an eco system. What I do like is that is see cool movement again. Team @waivio and @waiviolabs are working back on their restaurant review systems and I see a lot of testing from them which makes me super siked to start reviewing restaurants here in the region when they open up again.

I saw new users @ryzeonline making super sweet doodles for newbies on crypto which were actually very attractive to see and very well written articles, which makes me siked for quality coming in.

Another user I saw was @steve.varner who is bringing action figures and NFT are to the blockchain, which ofcourse is a while universe on itself and surely deserves a spot here as well.

These kind of quality users will eventually bring in more quality which is cool. But I do find as always there should remain a bit space for the casual beer-blogger as yours truly. But that will stay, rewards may not, but still. That isn't the point, it is about the beer community and not about the rewards.

Gladjanus was a white IPA also very easy to digest and especially the name and label are king again. Gladjanus means 'slick creep' in Dutch and as you see on the label that is exploited.'Eternal Youth is in there. Get is out while it still' is the slogan. Kind of scary but the beer was sublime haha.

The last couple of weeks all of a sudden it went fast in crypto space and it felt like everyone was popping in because of the bullishness, which also feels kind of scary because it is like an uncontrolled horde of extreme greed not overthinking what comes next. Cycles? Halving? Stock-to-flow? All no idea.

Some dude I knew who never did anything with crypto was proud of his $100 DOGE buy from last Tuesday. I am sure this upcoming week will not be his favorite one. Small shops are all of a sudden interested in payments in crypto again. It feels a bit like in the end of the last cycle. Greed is taking over. I am not sure what these small businesses will do when the bears are back, and I am very sure they are not thinking about smart contracts and those things. They are seeing the dollar signs and that is not sustainable.

The last cycle we said, when grandma starts talking crypto again, it is time to cash out and wait a more years. But I don't think we are at that point as yet, but we are getting closer though!

Two all time favorites which never get old. Nearly everything from the line of Brewery 't IJ is gold and I can not wait for them to open up again and spend some time in the beer garden in Amsterdam. Also the 100 Watt series which are from the Stadsbrouwerij (city brewery) from the city of Eindhoven remains winners with the 'Orchestra of Angels' as the flagship for a killer of your evening.

Cryptospace is booming at the moment even though the bloodbath from yesterday will most likely extend a bit throughout next week before making moves up (if may believe mister TA Crypto_ed_nl on Twitter) and this may be the half cycle dip which seems healthy and logical and a gigantic scare for all those DOGE and Safemoon kids who got in last week.

Still crypto is no space for weak hands, but the cool thing about HIVE is...The weak hands may write away their thoughts here to relax. And maybe have a beer on the side with that as well ;)
