#beersaturday the zoom meeting

Well Hivers first the important bit the beer This Saturday's tipple was a gift and very nice it is to a 750ml bottle of Tripel Karmeliet an 8.4% ABV Belgian beer brewed to a 17th-century recipe from the Carmelite Monastery of Dendermonde.

The result is a smooth fruity 3-grain beer and definitely not driving after this one. It's a bit on the lively side so you really need to be very careful pouring this one.

The taste is very interesting too in the mouth it feels more like sparkling wine and fills your mouth full of bubbles. Doesn't help with typing either.

OK, so enough of the beer how did the Zoom meeting go. Well, we ended up with 6 people in the end so guess you can work out the hardened drinkers. And the 30-minute zoom lasted over 2 hours, we did get a message to say it was ending at about 50 minutes in but it kept going. I still don't understand zoom so if anyone had issues signing in I apologize, Detlev who seems to understand this much better than I do has offered to host the next one.

It was really good to put some faces and voices to people on the Hive. Not sure if I chose the right beer as I was definitely feeling fuzzy around the edges at the end.

Thanks to everyone that joined in it were fun cant wait to do it again.
